El Pedregal Mexican Restaurant

Cute restaurant with beautiful decorations. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the workers and got the feeling it was a family owned restaurant. A little girl and a woman walked us to our table but you could tell the lady (maybe the mom) was making her practice her public speaking which I adored! I tried the lunch fajitas for dinner since I wanted a smaller portion than the dinner option and it was still a good amount of food. I loved that the tortillas were freshly made! The only thing I didn't like were the beans - they had a smoky, almost burnt tasting flavor. Overall, great spot! We'll be back.

Their Shrimp Queso Fundido is a delicious heart attack, just waiting to happen...It's officially an appetizer, but is was big enough to make a full meal. The umami was amazing with gooey queso blanco with spinach, nopales, and grilled shrimp, all served with a big basket of warm tortillas. I also enjoyed the various hot sauces to change up the flavors a bit.I don't know about the rest of their food, and frankly, I might not ever try anything else as I'd probably get this again and again. It's that good. Really.5 stars for great food and fast / efficient service.

The server was friendly and helpful! I had the street tacos and loved the el pastor. The fresh made guacamole was very well seasoned.

We love our community Mexican restaurant! The food is really fresh and there is a lot of variety. I always get a frozen margarita and my shrimp enchiladas! It's a cozy place where you can bring the family and a small group. We try to go a least once as month!

Came for a date night, and this food was so good! The queso dip and the salsa and chips are great! The street tacos were larger than expected and I couldn't finish them, but I go a mahi mahi taco, chicken taco and steak taco and I would definitely get the steak and mahi mahi again. My husband had a bowl and ordered some tortillas on the side and he enjoyed it. We would definitely come here again. We are so glad Mexican food is improving in Ohio!

My mom and I ended up at El Pedregal after exploring the Lithopolis Bee Festival. We didn't want to eat at the food trucks. They were busy with the fesitval but had a decent wait time. We only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. This left us with time to continue exploring the fesitval before it shut down. Once we were seated, we placed our order fairly quickly, and then we waited....and waited...and waited. An hour later we finally got our food. My beans and rice were cold, the rest of the food was luke warm. It was disappointing after waiting so long. The table across from ours got a burrito, it was HUGE. It looked like it could have easily made 3 meals for me. The food was decent, I just wished it was hot. Especially with how long we had to wait for it. We knew the waitress put it in because she kept checking on our table.

My second visit here and review. I like small town ambience and this restaurant fits in nicely with ethnic casual comfort. Good parking on and off the street. A bilingual staff that are cordial, attentive, prompt and efficient. As I mentioned last time the foods are under seasoned for me, but, there are 3 different hot sauces on the table to reinforce the meal as desired. I had the lunch special 1, a taco, a chilli-rehliano (sp?), refried beans. (See photo). It was tasty and I'll undoubtedly come again.

Authentic Mexican food, great flavor. Service was quick. Quaint little area, quiet and beautiful.

Solid Mexican restaurant owned by a nice family that has multiple locations. Good service and a great selection of food options for everyone. They have homemade tortillas!

Fiesta! El Pedregal offers some delicious Mexican fare in Lithopolis. The free chips and salsa were delicious and fresh - a perfect way to start our journey south of the border. The restaurant is surprisingly large, with ample seating inside and out. I had the enchiladas and they were delicious. The fillings were flavorful and fresh. My large portion came with the choice of two sides - my rice and beans were great!Service was friendly and El Pedregal will be my next stop in Lithopolis!
