Decided to travel here on a whim. It was one of the best reviewed, and I agree. Large area, in a shopping plaza, plenty of parking. We were quickly seated and our server was very attentive. Great margarita and even better when it's happy hour 2-5p. I ordered the Degolado Special, it had chicken, shrimp and steak with peppers, onions, mushrooms all atop rice and covered in cheese sauce. It was delicious, the red peppers had amazing flavor, the chicken and steak was tender. The star was the shrimp, I stopped counting after 6, but they were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy; full of flavor. Wonderful spot that I will visit again! Now to be picky, I did deduct one star due to the chips being stale. Must have been an earlier batch. Otherwise it was outstanding.

All in all pretty good joint! The quesadilla was good and so was the chips. The quesadilla could have used a little more cheese but chicken had good flavor. And it was huge. The old lady got the steak tips and she liked them. My only beef came from the old lady's Pina colada, there was barely any alcohol if any in it. All in all was really good, and I didn't have to pay! Shout out to the future mother in law, love you! El Parian change the almost nothing.

We did wait for a few minutes before anyone realized we were there and waiting for a table, but it was a weird time around 3:30ish, so before dinner and after lunch. Once we were seated we got our drinks, I got the house sangria, which was good. All of the food was delicious and filling. I stopped by this restaurant for lunch the other day...it is a small place, tucked into a strip mall on Maysville Pike in South Zanesville, and I am so glad that I did! The food was delicious and the portions are big (not just the entree, but even the side of sour cream I used with my chips). It was pretty calm when I was there and the decorations are festive. I didn't remember to take a picture when I was there, but I had the chicken quesadilla and instead of the normal grilled strips of chicken meat, it had something between strips and shredded chicken meat. The chicken was lightly seasoned, which was perfect for me. I think I found a new favorite!

El Parian is not bad. It's just okay. The price is kind of high for the portion and quality. Food and margaritas taste good. The service is extremely slow. It has free chips and salsa like any Mexican restaurant should have. It has a bar with a couple TVs. The restaurant looked pretty clean. It wasn't crowded at lunch. They still managed to be slow. I had a mango margarita. It's about $5 for the medium. This was pretty good even though it's made from a mix and didn't need all that salt around the rim. It has many of the typical Americanized favorites. There's burritos, fajitas, and quesadillas. I had the vegetable burrito. It's about $9 for the lunch portion. This was a simple tortilla filled with broccoli, peppers, and a few other kinds of vegetables. For some reason it took forever to get it. The restaurant wasn't busy and they had a lot of employees there. Margaritas are the best thing here. If getting food be ready for a long wait even if they aren't busy. The next time through Zanesville I would go to Tlaquepaque for Mexican.

Full of tender steak and nicely cooked vegetables.My seafood burritos from regular menu was great! Absolutely stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat. Accompanied with Mexican rice and a salad on the platter. Eat it together. The flavors and textures really enhance the wonderful meal! All the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly.
