I live up on The Hilltop and we have plenty of Mexican street food vendors all over the area..... these ladies have the best of everything.Cash only!I go frequently and I believe that it is the freshest most authentic Mexican street food that I have yet to find in Columbus. I say that based on having lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico. If you are driving West on Broad Street from the I-70 exchange as you're going up the hill you will notice it on the left hand side in the parking lot beside a large yellow building so it's easy to find.Another reason I find the ladies having the most authentic and best Mexican street food is because if you would stand back and watch the clientele that is eating what these ladies prepare you are going to find 90% of everybody there is Mexican and that should tell you it's real and authentic. If you're in the area oh, it is well worth it to stop and experience what the ladies are preparing because it is just as if they're preparing everything in their homes for their families and you will become a member there family automatically.

I get tacos at least once a week. I have been coming here for years. Why do I give it a 4? The prices have gone up over the years. When I say gone up, I mean the taco prices doubled. However, they are so good and I always brag about them. But when I take my friends they are taken aback paying $2.50 for a single small taco. Prices are not competitive for other taco trucks in the area but there is always a line of people waiting, so I guess they don't have to be. And, I will continue to go. Get the green sauce and squirt a little lime... Ummm ummm. Good eats!

Great truck, especially compared to east and north side trucks. I've had the tacos and tortas. It's great and the workers are very nice.

I don't know my friends what sort of better pricing I could have expected to find at other taco trucks on West Broad, but I can safely say there probably wasn't a better torta I could have had. It was so good it didn't make it photo wise, didn't even make it back to my destination. It does take a considerable amount of care and skill to eat something as messy as a torta while driving without making a mess, but I managed. They also have a spicy sandwich called a pambazo that sounded ridiculously sinful, probably would not immediately cause a heart attack assuming it would be a rare indulgence. If I find myself back in the area I will stop by there for sure, I suggest you do too.

Great food but expensive. Have been visiting for about 4 yrs. prices have gone up but the sizes of food portions have stayed the same. I would still recommend it

I was hungry and was in no mood for pizza or a sandwich, so I tried these guys. I'm usually a little leery of buying food from setups like this but I figured, what the heck. I've tried two items: the burrito and quesadillas. The burrito was the biggest freakin' thing I've ever seen! End to end steak, cheese, lettuce and lots of jalapeños (I love jalapeños). The steak was done well and was seasoned well. The sauces they had were really spicy and really good. The quesadillas were not as big as the burrito, but was a good size. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with lots of onions and cheese. Get their pops. I don't remember the name of the company in Mexico that it came from, but the mandarin was very good. The only knock on them is that they are a little slow, but the guys that run it are nice and looking inside you can see that they are working there tails off to cook the food ASAP and get it to you hot.Overall, a little greasy but well worth the price (both items were $4)

El Huarache Veloz is a convenient, solid taco truck. While not as impressive as other options off of the main stretch of W Broad, they have good tacos and Mexican sandwiches. The dish which is the namesake is a whole lot of food for just $5 and is quite spicy. Make sure you ask for it to be "no demasiado picante" (not too spicy for more delicate, gringo palates).

More expensive then the other trucks I have been too, but the menu is a good one explaining everything in lamens terms so that I know what is going on and I like that, lol! I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was better then the last place, but still not as good as La Populars, it was served on a corn tortilla, with cheese and traditional mexican cream and lettuce, but the steak is served more like ground beef and I like it more in strips or chunks of sorts. It was $5.00, but it is bigger then other places that are selling them for $3.50 and it came with radishes, cukes, and a nice sized cup of sauce too. She was very nice and very fast and so if I wouldn't rule this truck out, but I prefer the prices and flour tortilla for my tastes.
