The restaurant itself was okay. Nothing about the decor or staff stood out to me.The complementary chips and salsa were okay; chips were good but the salsa was too ketchup-y.Pictured is the shrimp ceviche. It was very mid. Good flavoring but the shrimp was cooked weird and uncut, which was not very appetizing. Shrimp was greyish and chewy, not sure if it was marinated long enough. My dad got a fajita burrito kind of deal, and he said it was delicious. Honestly prices were very expensive. It was about $18-24/plate. Portions are big but quality is mediocre, so the prices are not worth it.

The food and services were subpar and that's being gracious! The restaurant felt dirty in the sense that it looked like they mop the floors with dirty water. I'll definitely not run for this border again!

This is a newer Mexican restaurant north of Columbus in Minerva Park. The handmade corn tortillas absolutely MAKE their dishes! Everything we had was flavorful and the rice and beans are as tasty as I imagined. Camarones (shrimp) al grullense cames in a red house sauce with veggies. I was told this one would be spicy but I didn't think so. They brought over a hot sauce that was great though so I kept adding that. The birria de res was an interesting take... the meat was tender and flavorful but wish there was more of the juices for dipping. The chicken fajitas were the daily special so we got that as a starter to share hahaWe came with friends and this was a bit of a drive (25 min from downtown cbus) but I'm very glad we tried. The restaurant radiated colorful art and culture. Great value here with entrees around $16.

Excellent meal and speedy service from a very quaint, must-visit local joint. We had the steak ranchero and pollo asado, both of which were excellent, though we had some regret when the server brought us a sample of the birria to try because it was THAT good. Steak was spicy but not overwhelming. The corn tortillas are absolutely incredible as well, homemade in house! My only mini-qualm is no booze but the server said no booze YET so hopefully one can pair this stellar meal with a marg soon

Food was heavenly, service impressive, and the server was magical, she advised very well, and brought out a little carrot cake that ended up meaning a lot to me after such a bad week. I wanted to hug her, because the food itself is a hug from the inside....I will be back.

Really enjoyed my experience here. I should have taken some photos but I ate everything so quickly! They made fresh corn tortillas that were amazing. All my food was great and worth the price. The restaurant is very clean inside and the walls are all painted with beautiful textured artwork. The service was great as well, it was very clear that they cared about my family and our experience. I'll be back and then I'll take some photos of the food too. Don't miss out!
