El Asadero Bar and Mexican Grill

This is one of me and my husband's favorite date night spots. Its very lively at night! Lot's of music playing and a dancing robot and other entertainment. It is very loud at night just a head's up! It did take us by surprise our first visit. The service depend's on the time of day. If you go during the day your server will just do that serve you your food. They don't chat you up. But you are there for the food so that's ok! During the late evening and night time the server's are more hype asking you what you would like drink to night and recommending drink's and wanting you to have a good time.The food is alway's good. They do have a fine print on the menu that "if you do not like your meal or you pick the wrong meal they will not take it back or refund you" i ordered the birria quesadillas which was amazing so i didn't have a issue with needed something else. I did feel there wasn't enough rice but the quesadilla's are so filling that i can never finish the whole meal anyway's. The salsa here is my favorite salsa a perfect balance of heat and sweet.

Location; right off Broad you can't miss it. Plenty of parking, very festive restaurant. We got seating right away.Food; We started with the Chips and Guacamole that was yummy. I did order the Birria Quesadillas, I don't think they had enough cheese within the Birrias but was good. Will definitely try again. Adult beverages are ice cold and good. Everyone is nice. Bathrooms a little dirty.

What a wonderful diner I had last night. The restaurant is clean and comfortable inside, full of color and nice decoration. The service is OUTSTANDING and the food flavorful and well-presented. Every penny I paid was enjoyed and I'm surely coming back next week. I wish they had better prices for the beer, but it's not terrible. If you are around Reynoldsburg stop by and have an amazing experience here.

This place is great and they even make you table side guacamole! The drinks were cool as you can see and the food was really fresh. I think I found my new taco Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday place,lol!

El Asadero is definitely a party atmosphere. The music is very loud and the decor is colorful. Be warned that it's not the best place for conversation. Our waitress misheard some of our order just due to the noise, but she was very helpful and friendly overall. The steak quesadilla was very tasty but a little too greasy, lots of grease left on the plate. The shrimp tacos were decent but the shrimp is a little bland and needs more seasoning. The salsa and queso were both good. Overall it is a solid choice for Mexican food. Service is very quick.

I can't believe this place used to be a Max & Erma's! We stopped in for late night dinner around 10pm and it was LIVELY. There are huge frozen margaritas in wild flavors. Menu is absolutely huge. It even has a vegetarian section! I had the veg enchiladas, one cheese one bean. I subbed mole for red sauce and our server made sure to double check it was correct. Loud music and a dancing robot were present, not sure if that's just a weekend occurrence. Definitely will be back :)

Loved this place! Went for my sister's birthday and the food did not disappoint! They have a HUGE drink menu if that's your main interest. Food was also delicious. I tried the chicken fajita burrito (a lunch special) which was tasty, and my sister got the Del Mar trio, a seafood combo. Our server was friendly and got the staff to come out with drums to sing to my sister! Nice, clean restaurant with eye catching decor, colorful murals everywhere. Will definitely be back!

Second time here! This place does not disappoint! This is my new favorite Mexican cantina! This time I had the fried fish tacos. So tender & fresh.

We decided to try out El Asadero for my birthday. The parking lot is always packed and it's a decent size (used to be Max & Erma's), so there's plenty of room. When you first walk in, the hosts/esses will seat you. There is a lot of seating for couples and larger groups. It's a good place for kids, too. The artwork inside is beautiful! There is also a cake display in the front. They looked delicious! The drinks look to be the stars of the show. The margarita menu is extensive and very ornate! We tried the flight and the cotton candy and passion fruit were our favorite. The enchiladas were good but VERY small. It was like a child's portion! My husband ordered it and was left hungry. Thankfully the Kids Hamburger was the size of my head. My son had half, and my husband finished it off. The grilled chicken fajitas were really good. Sizzling when the dish came out but the house made tortillas were the show stopper. They were so soft and chewy! Definitely made the meal. Overall, it was nice to try out but for a Mexican meal, it was pretty overpriced and underwhelming.

The food is good don't give me wrong but if you plan to come here plan on waiting over an hour for a seat. I've been here for 2 hours and still haven't gotten seated. Worst service ever!!
