At first, I had a very positive experience with Eden of Easton. The rent is reasonable, especially given the size of my unit and location. I paid $568 for a relatively large two bedroom unit. The landscaping is nice, and in the spring the complex looks pretty nice. That being said, the management company will nickel and dime you if given the opportunity. When I was out of town, and realized I had failed to deposit my rent check in advance (it was the 29th), I called their office to see if I could make a payment over the phone, or make some kind of arrangement to make sure the rent was paid. Although I had made all of my previous payments on time, they were unwilling to work with me to process a payment, or make an exception. As a result, I was stuck with a $30 late fee. Their pool is almost never operational, and their workout equipment was broken when I first moved in. When I moved out, I had $80 dollars deducted from my deposit. Apparently it cost $10 for them to remove a pair of curtains I left in the apartment. They then charged me $70 for soiled kitchen counters and ovens. This was after I extensively washed both counter tops, but because the counters are made of cheap material which is painted over each year, one cannot hope to make them look as good as when they came in. In short, its not a bad place to live, but they don't hesitate to nickel and dime you.

I applied for a unit onMay 9. I turned in the documents requested on May 11 along with an email asking if they had everything they needed as well aa a phone call to them thay was NEVER returned. I paid the $99 app fee and $250 processing fee. On May 16 I received an email stating that their internet was down for a few days and that I needed to turn in additional paystubs. I sent the info requested on May 17 and called to make sure they didn't need anything else. I was told on the phone that they had needed the info the day before and closed my application and was not getting any refund. I had turned in 30 days of pay stubs and my ID. They requested additional pay stubs and did NOT advise of a deadline. As well as mot habing WIFI for 5 days to inform me of additiomal needs. Plus the fact of no refund after all info was given and I was told that no refund because I did not give them all documents before the deadline but was not made aware of the deadline. They requested additional paystubs from a date after my initial request

Let me start this out by saying be skeptical of positive reviews for this complex. The office staff asks us to write reviews when visiting their office in exchange for gift cards. While they are doing this they will loom over your shoulder and make suggestive remarks about favorable reviews. Notice how many 5 star reviews are a single sentence long. The only positive that I can give is that the staff is very friendly. First of all, pests. There has been an ongoing roach problem since move-in. And ants flood the bathroom and lie in piles dead next to the sink. The roaches will get into everything. We have not owned a microwave in months because I opened the door to get my soup and roaches ran out.Pest control comes out, sprays some things for 10 minutes then is on his way. Next, neighbors are awful. About half will not speak English, which is not a problem in itself except they refuse to communicate about issues in units. We were told no one else complains about the roaches in our unit despite roaches and ants flooding in from our neighboring unit. Children run around and scream on the top floor units starting at 7am. We had a pipe burst in the bathroom and cave in our ceiling. We saw black mold in the ceiling opening. Maintenance came the next day unannounced, patched over the ceiling and left the towel rack on the ground so now towels can't be hung up. We show pictures to the office staff and they apparently had no idea this even happened. This was a Saturday night. That same night our fridge quit working for a second time, but our fridge not working is not an emergency and they are closed Sunday so nothing could be done. Monday morning we get a phone call telling us that it was fixed the previous time by resetting a button under one of the outlets. Within 3 minutes it was working again. We lost all of our groceries over something that was a very quick fix. If you are a woman, beware. I have to have my boyfriend walk with me to do laundry. This morning at 10am on a Monday a man cat called me as I was walking to my car, I ignored it, then looked over my shoulder and saw that he followed me to my car. A friend of mine came over to visit and claimed that a man approached her car and knocked on her window to harass her. I don't feel safe anymore. When bringing this concern up to office staff I was told that they don't feel unsafe walking around. If I have one piece of advice to give, look elsewhere if you can.

Formerly known as "Northpoine Apartments," now called "Eden of Easton." Under new ownership and management as of December 2010.Maintenance crew is from somewhere in Africa and doesn't speak English or fix things very well. Our ceiling in our spare room (thankfully empty) leaked every time it rained and the office never sent anyone out to fix it. Stove didn't work when we moved in. The track for the silverwear drawer fell and we had to wait two days for them to fix that. I don't recall our air conditioner ever working. It was over 100F in our 3rd-floor apartment with all the windows open and fans on!The grounds are a mess. They have the worst drainage problem I've ever seen. The tennis court floods, as does every grassy area you can see. It was a swamp every time it rained.Rent's cheap til they add in fees and utilities. Neighbors are hit-or-miss. I called the office and the police about the crazy lady next door who kept flipping out on her babydaddy and/or their kid and nothing was ever done about it.

My ninth month... Well, I would like to say that the parking lot and sidewalks were cleared in a timely manner when we had a lot of snow... I would LIKE to say that, but I would be lying. Three days after it snowed, I made a call to the apartment complex to see if / when it would be done, and they seemed shocked that it was never done. Due to the fact that I have knee issues (knee surgery within the past year), and the apartment across the breezeway from me has elderly occupants, I bought and used my own salt for the stairs and walkway. When I signed the lease, I was assured that the snow removal, sidewalk shoveling, and salting were going to be handled by the apartment staff. When they finally plowed the parking lot, it was left with snow and ice still about an inch thick (probably because it wasn't done when it should have been), and the snow that did get plowed, blocked the parking spaces. The sidewalks had one strip shoveled on each one, so I guess that is better than nothing. Barely.

Would Rather go back to being homeless and couch surfing then rent this place again. First the pictures on their website isn't how the apartments look at all they are no where near as nice, Second the place is infested with roaches, and last they still haven't given me my safety deposit back after 30+days of lease ending

Just moved in. Great customer service from the girls who work in the office. I worked with Sylvia and she was amazing. answered all of my questions thoroughly and eased any anxiety or concerns I had. When unable to speak to Sylvia, I would work with her manager Tai who was very knowledgeable and had great service. Excited about the new adventure that await.

been there since 2017- they have horrible service in the office. They are infested with roaches and mouse. i have pictures of both. Me and my neighbors all delt with same issues. Their maintenance is slow. If something is broke they take their time on fixing it.my mother stayed there since 2015. She delt with mouse and roach infestation as well. the neighbors blast music and trash the neighborhood and the office does nothing. They have a pool that's never open. They open it for a week and make excuses on why it's closed. Do not move here. You will regret it. and there pest control ppl don't even get rid of the problem. Horrible horrible place to live. Don't move to any of there communities.

DO NOT RENT!! Not only did they initially change my move in date by 2 weeks to give me a "better" unit! They moved me into a roach infested unit ! I've only lived here for about a month And I've been seeing them since the day I moved in! They haven't really dealt with them and I absolutely refuse to live like this ! I keep my apartment clean And I have two children under 3 And I cannot live with bugs? Not to mention, the dishwasher has been broken since the day I moved in and the day I moved in it had standing water and smells absolutely disgusting And hasn't been fixed since , despite maintenance coming out And "fixing" it also , they let my hot water tank be broken for two weeks and soak the hallway floor causing mold ! I'd give no stars if I could ! Don't rent from here !

My experience has been an absolute nightmare. Half way through my lease and already want to leave, my health and safety feels at risk here. We've experienced; ants in the bathroom and kitchen (in our cabinets trying to get into our food, roaches in our cabinets and floor of our kitchen, harrassing neighbors, flooding in our bathroom due to upstairs neighbors not keeping track of their washer, which led to a wall being torn down revealing mold within the walls.Do not live here, its unhealthy, both physically and mentally, and not definitely not safe .
