Eddy's Chicken and Waffles

This was my first time at eddy's and I didn't know what to expect but let me tell youuuuuu if you like your chicken extra crispy go here they even gave me extra lemon pepper I am definitely coming back !!! And the service was quick. I ordered a 10 piece wing with fries and it comes with a slice of bread

Poor customer service....the person who is up front taking orders need to learn customer service, greet and tell the customers that will be a moment not allow a person to stand at the register for 10 minutes and say nothing but keep walking back and forward.

We had the house special breakfast, and the big breakfast both were very good although the sausage was a little spicy for me. Good portions. And a good breakfast for the price which was very reasonable.

The food is consistently good and the portions are great for the price. I've ordered online a few times and my food is always ready on time.

Most people are getting delivery pickups. I see why the wait is long. The wings are small and overcooked. The fries were not hot. I see why I haven't been here in a while.

I came here for some fish and grits. I'd been to their previous location once on Livingston some time ago, but didn't realize they'd moved. This location is on Noe Bixby, located in the plaza next to dairy queen.So as stated, I ordered the fish and grits, catfish to be exact for carryout. The fish was BANGIN, sooo good! Seasoned perfectly, crispy, moist, flavorful, dabomb.com. The eggs were cooked nicely as well. The grits I was a bit disappointed in because they had absolutely no seasoning and were a bit runny.I read in the reviews that the chicken here is also poppin, so because of that, and their DELICIOUS catfish, I'll probably be back to try more of the menu.

My son convinced me to try this place out after he had been talking about it over the course of several days. He knows I'm picky about my chicken, but since he was paying, I was game. We picked up about 40 pieces for the family and I must admit, I was impressed. Nice and crispy, temperature-hot and seasoned incredibly well. In fact, it was VERY hot, which was a plus since we had to drive home. My mistake was trying a piece while driving, but it was worth it.The second visit was a bit disappointing. We ordered 70 pieces and couldn't wait to get back home to enjoy them. They were overcooked and almost dried out. We had called the order in prior to picking them up, but I know they weren't sitting out that long, as we drove straight there (about 10 minutes) after placing the order. I thought it was just my pieces, but it turns out they were all like that.I suggested that we notify them and see about getting some of the order replaced but the kids were so hungry that they decided to let it go.I'm not angry with the restaurant and am definitely willing to give them another try, but looking back, I should have told them about the problem. We'll see during the next visit. In the meantime, I can only give them 3 stars. Hopefully next visit will bring up my rating.

Ordered the chicken and waffles and a side of grits. I ordered through door dash, and when I got the bag, the bottom was filled with syrup. Some of which got in my grits. When I opened the box, the syrup containers were completely empty and half the waffle was super soggy. Luckily I was home so I used my own syrup. The waffle was not good and it was tough. The chicken was great! Very pleased. I asked for cheese in the grits. It was sitting on top and it never fully melted, so I just had clumps of cheese throughout. Grits also had no seasoning or flavor. I wouldn't order anything but chicken from here. And though the chicken was good, I'd still go somewhere else for an overall better experience.

Now they have the understanding!! When you want some fried fish or fried chicken it needs to be done right. If I'm choosing to not cook I want it season proper and tasty. I order catfish and wings. My sides I did potato's with onions mushrooms and cheese. I will most def say. They met my desire.. The food was hot and fresh to go. It was tasty. I even didn't finish it all and the reheat was still on point. I will be going back!! Yes yes yes

So, I have never really grasped the concept of chicken and waffles until now. My kids were wanting chicken and waffles for dinner so we decided to check out Eddy's. The dining room is not open at this location. They are only offering takeout and delivery. We ordered two orders of chicken and waffles and one order of the kids chicken and waffles. After reading many reviews on here, I also requested some Eddy's sauce. Oh my! Where do I start?! Everything was so good! The chicken wings were large, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside! They were seriously so good! You can dip them in the delicious Eddy's sauce or pair them with a bite of the super fluffy Belgian waffle with syrup! The waffles are so large and fluffy that one container of syrup is not enough - you will need two! My 12 year old and 5 year old cannot stop raving about their meals. They've asked if we can come back once a week (shrugs shoulders). They really loved the chicken and waffles so much! They also loved the Eddy's sauce! I definitely loved everything about my meal as well! We will definitely be back!
