East of Chicago Pizza

Your online order will be ready in 20 minutes! No. No it won't. This place is so incredibly busy. Too busy to take care of people waiting for a table, at the bar, or to simply pick up a pizza. I get that Friday nights are busy, but 5 minutes turned into 10, turned into 20. And no one was being helped at that time, which is the most infuriating part of it all. Dine in. Not an option. Delivery. Too long of a wait. Pick up. Too long of a wait. 11 people waiting in a small entry way and only one person waiting on them.

I hadn't been in for a while so we decided to try it. SO GOOD. I don't remember it being this good. We've been there a few times now, usually for pizza. We get double sauce because it is delicious. They remodeled the inside and its very nice. Nice bar and T.Vs. Service is great. Staff is friendly. Our new favorite pizza place!

They have a great lunch deal, personal size pizza, drink, and bread for $5! I got Hawaiian bbq chicken pizza, it was delicious! Definatly will go back!

This pizza is terrible. Beyond terrible. Not edible. I honestly don't know how you intentionally would make a pizza worse unless you poured deer urine over it.

I'm 64 years old and love pizza and have had many hundreds of pizza's and this is the worst pizza I have ever had. I got the meat lovers on thin crust and the crust was so soggy you could hardly pick it up without it falling apart. The sauce tasted more like ketchup than pizza sauce. the meat was awful and there was no cheese at all. No one was able to eat it, its in the trash right now! This so called pizza cost me $40.00! I read the few reviews that were online before I ordered and the latest review was from a year ago and most reviews up to then were 1 star. I should have known better but thought surely they would have at least tried to do a better job by now but I was proven wrong. I have had East of Chicago before and liked it but this location is honestly a joke. I have no idea how they are still in business. If you think about eating here please take this review seriously and don't do it.

I had the pizza buffet and salad bar. The salad bar was good. The lettuce and spinach were fresh and lots of toppings to add. The pizza, on the other hand, was not good. Firstly, there was only deep dish pizza, no thin crust. This means that you get a lot of bread to fill you up, with very little toppings. Secondly, although the crust was good, it was completely dry, absolutely no sauce left after cooking. Thirdly, the toppings were skimpy at best. The cheese was a cheap grade. The pizza was actually tasteless. In all, I cannot say this was anywhere near close to good pizza, in fact it was fair to poor at best. If you like this pizza, then you actually like bread. And my drink was never refilled

Today was the first visit to EOC in many years. I had the buffet. Although the price was reasonable, I do not patronize large companies who pass credit card charges down to the people who can least afford it. These charges are a deductible business expense for the business and it is totally unreasonable to pass these on. Now for the food....the buffet had only deep dish pizza, no thin crust, which means lots of bread and very little toppings. Although the crust is good, it was dry as a bone, absolutely no sauce, and very skimpy on toppings. The pizza was replenished frequently and was hot, but not really very flavorful. The salad bar was just ok. In all, I will never go back and would never recommend this as a good pizza, sub par at best, and not a good value at all.

I have been ordering from there for years. And once again they messed up on my order. How hard is it to put extra mayo on a sub... Manager was rude. Wanted the sub back and would replace mine. Not a problem. Order the cookies and there was so much grease on them it literally soaked a paper towel. I spend anywhere between 40 and 90 dollars everytime. I dont need a gross cookie and a bitchy manager!! I'll think twice about ordering from them again.

We waited for over 2 hours for one pizza and 2 orders of donut holes and they didn't give us a call or anything. if anyone knows corporates number plz send it to me.

i had the worst service ever from this location yesterday , the manager was rude and they put me on hold twice and hung up on me, I ordered a pizza and bread sticks around 530 and by 720 my food was still not delivere, by far the worst service I've ever gotten.
