Pretty nice golf course my traveling golf league played at during the week a couple weeks ago ago Very challenging a lot of elevation changes some pretty tough holes. The course was a nice condition. The greens were nice. The weather was just about perfect summer weather the bar area that we ate at had food and just took a little while to get served because they were so busy. I would definitely return. The pricing was very reasonable considering it was a weekday outing seem to be pretty popular with lots of local golfing also

Went here for multiple events relating to prom and graduation activities in high school. It is a beautiful facility and a Zanesville "staple" for taking prom photos and for events. It's a beautiful event space for the area and I had a nice time all of the times I visited.

Stopped by for dinner because we had seen the sign for the best burgers and wings in Zanesville. Mmmm, ok. The service was really, really slow and there weren't many people there on a late Sunday afternoon. We did get our drinks but took a long while to get our food and when we did, they made the wings wrong (they fixed it and didn't charge us for the difference) they were very good but a little on the cool side. I added celery and blue cheese but I believe the celery had been frozen so it was kinda mushy. The burger with the pulled pork was pretty amazing!! Again a little on the cool side but amazing. I got a side of Mac and cheese which was good but it was literally cold around the outer part of the dish. Like, literally cold in my mouth..... I do not send food back at any restaurant because, well, I just don't trust people like that! But, everything had good flavor but definitely not as hot as it should have been. I feel like it just sat a long time after the order came up and before we got it. Not sure I would return ‍

A little preface: I don't play golf much so I have never played golf here, but it does seem to be green and sprawling and absolutely gorgeous out there. My review is only on Mac's Sportsbar, the little restaurant/bar they have inside.I have a couple of friends who continually suggest eating here for lunch or dinner. I'm not sure if this is a common thing, it doesn't seem "right" for a golf course to even be a lunch/dinner destination as opposed to just snacktime after a long day of golf, y'know what I mean?So I have eaten here twice for an early dinner, both times I forgot my ID so no alcohol. I can't recall what I ordered the first time, but I remember feeling a little let down. The second time I had nachos which is actually just some cheese melted on some chips, with some other stuff thrown on, salsa and sour cream on the side. The prices are fairly cheap but I have a hard time paying for food that I could make just as good or better at home. Visually it's a nice place to be. I love the fountain under the stairs going up. The landscaping in bloom is gorgeous. But if you ask me, don't come here for food, and I'd even extend that to weddings... bring your own caterer.

I've played golf here for a few years, it's the best in the area bar none, especially when you consider the price. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the views on the course are great. While on the turn there's a great selection of quick eats. Check out the Prime Rib sandwich, it's absolutely awesome.

Mac's Sports bar is a decent place for lunch or dinner. Bar area is big with it seating apx 20 people and numerous tables throughout.Sandwiches and appetizers are great; pizza is lacking. Prices are competitive and the beer is cold. Cheeseburger soup is very tasty...def worth trying if you stop in!

My wife and I stopped in and ordered the fish and chips, I was traditional and she had the sweet potato fries. The dinner, temperature and service were all top notch. The cole slaw, you know that side that many folks have a single bite or simply choose to ignore, was OUTSTANDING and made on site in that kitchen. For Zanesville Ohio, this fish and chips is the best in town. That's not to say there isn't other options in the area that have fish and chips, but once you have it here, it will be the gold standard you compare those others to!

This has been my second visit to the Eagle Sticks Lounge and I'm not really sure what happened; our first visit a few weeks ago was absolutely fantastic, great service, great crowd and the food was awesome. We ordered the chicken queaidila and the dirty garlic ranch wings which we loved so much we ordered the same thing this second visit. This time our server was moody and not very friendly, the bar was filled with extremely loud and visibly intoxicated obnoxious patrons who not only made our visit uncomfortable, but who also made repeatedly offensive remarks. This second visit our wings were dry and the quesidila was extremely cheesy, not anything like our first visit. Unfortunately we can't decide if we just came on a bad day this second visit or if we got extremely lucky on our first visit; safe to say we won't be gambling for a third visit. Too bad.

Went for a private event to celibate a college graduation, so they knew we were coming... it took more than 45 minutes to have anyone take our order, and another hour for service. Only to find that three of us didn't receive our dinners. When we told our waitress she replied "that's all the food in the kitchen, it's all here", but wait it gets better, there was no attempt to correct the issue! It appeared he kitchen staff prepared some of the order and left for the night. So after 2 and a half hours of limited service and no food we left, hungry. The manager was little help, as she had "only been here for 3 weeks"... Please, please don't waist your time or money here. It was apparent they didn't care. If only 0 stars was an option!
