Honest to Goodness Home cooking that sticks to your ribs, hips and lips! Had the lunch buffet and they have it down pat. My plate was piled high with baked chicken, meatloaf, ham, mashed potatoes and noodles. i never have room for their dessert included on the buffet which is usually, bread pudding, fruit cobbler and ho-ho cake.They also have the salad bar side that has more than just your greens and fixings, they also have potato salad, broccoli salad and other treats to tempt anyone's palate. For all you get it is a bargain at 15.99. They also have a full menu that doesn't disappoint. Seriously, the roast beef and pork are tender and the meatloaf is the best around and I am super picky about my meatloaf. You will not leave hungry and you just may need take a nap in one of their rocking chairs situated on the big wrap-around porch.They have a attached bakery and gift shop which is always worth a look. I've found some very unique gifts there.

Came here on our road trip with the in laws. We didn't have to wait at all to get a table. I got the buffet and it did not disappoint. All my favorites and really enjoyed it. The chocolate cake was spectacular. Roast had great flavor, mashed potatoes, and brown gravy was awesome. Kids vanilla ice cream with caramel was enough to share with the whole table. We are definitely going to try and make it back. Well worth it.

Stopped in for lunch while touring a friend from Seattle. Beautiful place, well kept and clean. I really wanted to show off the local faire. We all had some variation of their broasted chicken. There were zero complaints and full belly's when we left! Great food and our server was very friendly and professional! Thank you!

This is a classic Amish "all-you-can-eat buffet". There are a number of restaurants in the area with DUTCH in their name and I'm not sure if they are all related or independent. This particular restaurant is part of a multi-building complex with a theater, a gift shop, and some other areas that we did not explore.There were four of us in our group and three ordered the buffet which included roast beef, chicken, ham, several kinds of potatoes, noodles, and on and on. I ordered from the menu and had an excellent cheeseburger and fries. Those ordering from the buffet were very pleased with their choices.The staff was extremely nice and very friendly. This place excels when it comes to comfort food and lots of it.

The Dutch Valley Restaurant was beautiful, Lindsay was an excellent waitress, very kind, nice, and efficient. I had the cod fish, and it was amazing and delicious. Also, the bakery had tasty treats and beautiful trinkets in their gift stores. Next time I come back to Ohio, I'm going to make sure I stop there again.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Decent selection of food in the buffet. The service was excellent, and the food was good (the rolls were the best part). The restaurant and markets seem too large and commercial for what I expect with down to earth home style Amish meal, the menu listed sister locations in the area. As well as Indiana and Florida.

Why is everything so sweet?! I get it, it's an Amish style buffet so you're not going there for fine dining. The beef tasted like pot roast, the baked chicken was dry. The fried chicken was marginally better. On this Friday, they had ribs which were too chewy and saturated with very sweet sauce.The desserts were uniformly overly sweet and unremarkable otherwise.Stick to the salad bar; it's well stocked with a large variety of produce and mayo salads.

I have visited Dutch Valley Restaurant for many years (30+). To be honest, it was the highlight of my trip to Sugarcreek. Within the past year or so, I've noticed a slight decline in food quality. Cool eggs or lack thereof, along with several other items at the breakfast buffet. My most favorite delight were the cinnamon rolls that USED to have a 'to die for' maple frosting. The frosting changed, not the color, but the taste well over a year ago. It really didn't taste like maple and more toward a colored powder sugar mixture. The most disappointing part about the cinnamon rolls, is they have been dry as a potato chip. Gave it a second chance when they brought a fresh batch out, more than once. Same thing. So disappointing. The last several trips, I have left the rolls on the plate, not having consumed more than a bite. I truly hope they don't further decline, or we'll be looking elsewhere for a start to our day in Sugarcreek. Valerie in Lake Milton, OH
