Dunkin'

I am so glad they finally put a Dunkin closer to me. I had a great time atthe grand opening on East Broad St Whitehall. Of course I was #1 in line to win coffee for a year. I will be in coffee heaven for a whole year. The service was great and the coffee was good. The store really went all out for the opening, they had a stilt walker, cheerleaders and of course the donut mascot. The inside is well lit, spacious and organized. All the donuts looked really fresh and delicious.

Yesterday my husband dropped by at about 10 am. It's been open a little over a month and we wanted to give it some business. There were 2 jelly donuts in the case so he got both and also a crème ( not custard) Bismarck. Once home my husband immediately dug in with anticipation. He was disappointed with not one not two but all 3 donuts. They definitely were not fresh but stale . Shame on Dunkin for selling old goods and padding them off as fresh. Tip - I have never eaten a stale donut from Jolly Pirate on Rosehill and Main.

My food has always been great. Basically perfect. My coffee however, not so much. Every time there's an issue. I only keep trying bc it's the closest location to me. I either don't get my sugar or they don't add one or even both of my flavorings. My coffee isn't difficult or even too much, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

We were excited to see a new Dunkin close to home and tried it for the first time today. I know they are still getting the hang of things but we are going to continue heading north into Gahanna for our Dunkin cravings. Service was fine but the food..it was not good.1. One sandwich was burnt. Like, black crunchy burnt.2. Both eggs on our sandwiches were blue? Like someone had blue frosting or marker on their hands before handling the eggs.3. Snacking bacon was soggy and floppy and cold. Gross.4. Avocado toast bacon wasn't crumbled up and crunchy..just floppy, cold strips tossed in the box. We aren't wasteful people but ended up throwing this food away. The blue eggs really freaked us out and nothing was the way it was supposed to be. Disappointed that Whitehall gets another chain that doesn't believe in upholding standards.
