Hella unique ice cream options and flavors. I saw Tequilla, Bubble Gum, Jamaican, Coconut, Strawberry Cheesecake etc. You can make milkshakes out of any flavors of ice cream they've got. Customers come in in waves yet the small staff is a well oiled machine getting folks in, served, and out. They've also got several food options inside as well like Walking Tacos utilizing DORITOS as the base. I got the kinda sorbet/sherbert fruity Mangolada and it was unique and tasty with different flavor profiles that ranged from sweet, to salty, to savory. There were huge tasty chunks of mango's inside and a delectable red syrup throughout with pieces of red candy chunks inside. Even the straw itself was covered in like a sweet/salty-ish TAJIN type coating. They had all types of stuff inside from popsicles, to ice cream sandwiches, chocolate covered waffle bowls etc. The misses got a Strawberry Cheesecake shake, and the kiddo got a strawberry ice cream with a strawberry popsicle in a chocolate waffle bowl sprinkled contraption and it was ALL GREAT! We'll definitely be back!

I have been seeing pictures of their mangonada everywhere and finally have been able to try it! This location is on West Broad and does have its own parking lot. My friend and I came here on a Saturday night and it was not too busy. It's very spacious and looks almost like an ice cream store with the way it's set up, but just with lots of splashes of color along with a variety of food choices from ice cream to hot Cheetos! They have pictures of their food options on the way along with the prices which I honestly appreciate because I eat with my eyes! Plus if you are not familiar with the foods then you can at least see what you are ordering. My friend and I ordered a mangonada and an elote with the dynamite Takis coating (Mexican street corn). The mangonada was $6.99 and I think the elote was about $5 since my total was around $12. We got to watch them make both dishes. The employee first made the mangonada which had mango ice cream and a chili syrup sauce which I believe is chamoy and tajin seasoning (a lime salt). The straw was covered in the lime salt! Soooo delicious and it's a HUGE portion. The elote was covered in mayo, cheese, and the takis coating. You can choose between a variety of takis coatings. I finished the entire thing. I wish the coating was a little more crunchy to add texture to the corn, but no worries!I will be coming back :)

Upon entering this hidden gem, I felt a rush of excitement like a kid in an ice cream shop! The walls are painted vibrant, bright colors giving off a cool atmospheric vibe! Each time I have visited it is always super clean, even the bathrooms! The selections are plentiful; something for everyone! The food and ice cream that I have tried are all delicious, however, my funnel cake was a little too well done, yet kind of tasted like it was pre made, waiting for someone to order, and then heated up, yet still edible! The elotes was not what I expected, having only tried Mexican Street Corn from Local Cantina. Unfortunately, I did not care for the Elotes, that is just my taste buds, however, it was beautiful to look at for sure! This dive is a hidden gem in my eyes and my family will definitely frequent this location!

Enjoyed the ice cream, but still have a strange after taste in my mouth. Not sure if that is common with Mexican version of ice cream or just the flavor I tried. No prices posted, but the price I paid for a large scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone - $3.74. Not busy at all so service was fast. Let me taste before I ordered. No calorie count any where, which EBS would have celebrated. Celebrating the holiday means I will enjoy it with out worrying about calories. Not sure if I will try again because of the after taste, but glad I did. Might come back for something with fresh fruit.

I've visited another paleta store in Columbus off of Sawmill and this one is worlds better. It's clean, the menu is easy to read, and people dont look at me as if to ask what I'm doing there. Their paleta selection is wild. I couldn't find a list of what they had and I'm short so it was hard to see the choices but I got the strawberries and cream and a mango and both are DELICIOUS, just like I used to get in Mexico. I also wanted to try their elote. I got it in a cup instead of street style because I was going to eat it in my car and the girl that made it just made it perfectly! Perfect ratio of toppings and the right amount of lime. The churros were also good and made in front of us. I'm going back to try more soon because the menu has all of my favorite foods, from walking tacos to frappucinos. In the winter I'll be going for atole and champurrado ( which I haven't been able to find anywhere). I'm very happy I decided to try this place.

Imagine Jeni's and Diamond's Ice Cream were married and had a child named Dulce Vida for "sweet life." The child decided mom and dad's shop needed more than just "ice cream." The child does what every child does and imagines more things to add onto the menu to attract people. These things include the walking taco and many other warm treats. Little does mommy and daddy know, this child's ideas would attract so many customers because they like getting their walking tacos. Although the paletas are also a huge hit here because there are many different options to choose from. Then one day, I show up and see this beautiful bright ice cream shop on the side of West Broad Street. I begin going through the menu to see what I like and then trying all the flavors to sample them. All the flavors I tried were very good. They are also freshly made in the shop.My husband goes for the tres marias which is 3 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone cup with 3 chocolate sticks. He said it's time to enjoy and splurge a little today. Little does he know, that I then order something different the helado with 2 scoops of pistachio and caramel ice cream. Oh boy, trouble. Nope, he did fine eating that 3 scoop and I of course enjoyed my helado very much.If your looking for something similar to Diamond's Ice Cream or happen to be on this side of town, give Dulce Vida a try. You never know, you might like them.

Dulce Vida is another Mexican ice cream place in Columbus. It has a good location to take advantage of. There's lots of Hispanics and Latinos in the Westland area. It has a large amount of ice cream and popsicles. They also have lots of vegan flavors too. If you haven't been to somewhere like here, you need to know a couple things before you go. In Mexico, popsicles are known as paletas. These are a lot like common popsicles but these are made with real fruit and not just artificial shit. It has some made with milk, while others are made with only fruit juice. The ones with only fruit juice are vegan friendly, so there's something for most. It also has ice cream and sorbet, or the Mexican versions that is. The flavors run from common to fucking crazy, they put that in ice cream and popsicles? A lot have fruit that is more common in Mexico like mango, and some are made with chili peppers which give a great hot and sweet flavor. The shops are only about $2 which is good for its quality. If you haven't had Mexican ice cream come to Dulce Vida. It has more flavors than you can shake a maraca at. The service is great too.

So much variety!! There are a ton of flavors to choose from. More traditional to savory types, authentic and sorbet. They also serve actual food, which looked good. You get a lot of ice cream for your money.

Such a neat, unique, delicious, and clean place! This shop offers Mexican style treats, fruit popsicles, and ice creams-in TONS of testable flavors. They also have around 20 great dairy-free options too!The decor was cute and the atmosphere was fun and energetic! I would never have visited this location if it weren't for a friend raving about it, but I will definitely be back! This is my new favorite ice cream shop because the flavors are so unique (cheese flavor is one of them) and it is so fresh tasting! Yep... I would rather visit this place than to visit a Jenni's or a Greater's.Note- they also seem to serve some hot snack foods and they have seating available inside or outside.

Good ambiance and place seemed clean. Service was fine nothing special. A Group of friends and I were having a hard time finding a ice cream/ dessert place but let me tell you it was worth coming here, well atleast for the ice cream. They have a broad menu of savory dishes, desserts/sweets, snacks and in between. I got the chocolate and vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone that the vanilla ice cream was definitely the star of the show. It's not your typical fake white overly sweet doesn't really taste like anything vanilla ice cream. It was the real deal if you go for anything I'd say go for the vanilla ice cream. Price I would say was a bit much for 2 scoops of ice cream but being how good it was I'd pay for it again.
