Dueling Axes

Came here attempting to kill time before my flight back home and glad that we found this spot on Yelp. I've been axe throwing before but I've never really enjoyed it until this time!First of all, I'm absolutely terrible at throwing axes. I think I've managed to get it stuck on or two times in my life even thought I've gone multiple times. The check in process here is quite easy. We filled out the waiver and then were walked to our spot. At our spot, they went through safety training and all the games. There's multiple games you can play if you're really good. We stuck with the originally one though. I kept thinking, oh gosh, this guy training us is going to be pissed cuz I'm never going to get it to stick on the board. Well, he ended the best trainer I've ever had! I actually got it to stick on the board more often than not!!!! Now I fully get the appeal of axe throwing. The nice thing about this place is that they also have food and drinks if you want. There's a full bar. I just got a stout beer which was delish. We only had about an hour so we didn't order food or anything but that also looked really good. There were some other groups in here throwing axes too. Definitely a bigger space, too, so if you have a birthday party or a large group, this would be such a fun activity to do. And again, staff is incredible and did such a good job taking care of us!

We went here to practice before a work tournament. The guy giving us our safety tour was super helpful and gave some really good insight into our throws and stances. It helped with our tournament the next day. By the end of our hour we were throwing bullseyes! It was quiet when we went. A weekday around 6p. There were a few people on some other lanes but otherwise we had the place to ourselves. They offer some new games from the last time I visited several years back. The games our fun. You have to manually enter in your score, but it is fun to try other goals than just making it in the target. The cocktails were excellent too. It was easy to drink and have a good time for an hour.

Place was fun.. But, the price. $35 a person for a hour. Four of us at $35 a hour in one axe throwing lane. $ 160.00. Should have had 4 lanes then maybe would have been worth it. Only played 3 games. So if you go with people get individual lanes..It's awesome the owner can review a good review but not mine. Guess it's all about the money not being over priced..

I took my husband here for Father's Day and it was a great experience. We did make a reservation but showed up pretty late. The guys working there were awesome, it was fairly empty so they didn't mind the lateness too much and still gave us the the full amount of time we booked, actually they may have given us some extra time to finish our last game. They have a bar onsite and the drinks are pretty good. Such a fun way to blow off some steam or just enjoy throwing sh** at a wall :)

Had a great experience at Dueling Axes last week. When we arrived, we had to fill out a waiver which is pretty standard at any place you go now. What I was surprised about was the number of people there to drink. There wasn't a lot of people but the fact people come to Dueling Axes to drink and not participate is very interesting as I live down the street. They have great options and specials going on daily for drinks. Okay now onto the experience, when I arrived D helped me get the waiver filled out and then I was taught how to axe throw by a manager who I'm sorry but forgot his name but he was soo nice! The actual axe throwing experience is kind of pricey but oh was it worth it. I felt so empowered when I hit the target. They also have different games you can play and the axe throwing portion can get very competitive. I cannot wait until I come back with more people as only two was a little boring. I'm thinking bigger groups would be so fun!

No complaints! We had a 7 pm reservation for Saturday night. Easy to make this online, and you can sign your waivers as well. I forgot to do this, but we did on our phones after checking in.The rules were fully explained, as well as a demo on how to throw. Our guy also went over the scoring, which you do manually on the tablets for each lane.Great staffing and the bartender made our drinks very well.I would return. It's a nice little workout while having fun. Tip: need closed toed shoes. Full bar, and you can bring or order in your own food since they do not have a kitchen.

Absolutely an amazing time with "D".... Not "Dee". Lol. We felt so welcome and everyone was so kind. We had a family funday! Really cool spot great drinks and fun! Bring your kids! Prices are great too!

Had a blast here for my boyfriends birthday. Our group made reservations in advance and it was easy to do so. When we arrived, our guide/server promptly showed us how to throw and took our drink orders. She was very friendly. The axe throwing was super fun for everyone and we fit 4 games in the hour slot we were booked for. And hour was a good amount of time but I wish we could have added 15-30 more minutes. Booking is a little pricy, but that's to be expected. Drink prices were decent and the tea shot was strong!

So much fun! Not only was the service super friendly, but the atmosphere was just fun. Drinks were priced really well.
