What a fun visit! My folks came to town, so we decided we needed to check out Drip Dreams Ice Cream for a sweet after-dinner treat. My dad got a double scoop of mint chocolate brownie and lemon raspberry ice creams. My mom and I split Court's Favorite, a peanut butter brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream. The sundae was delish and definitely enough for two people. My mom and I really enjoyed the sweet flavors and generous portion. My dad didn't love the mint chocolate brownie scoop (not enough mint) but enjoyed the lemon raspberry scoop. On top of the tasty treats, the customer service was great. I will definitely be back to try a milkshake or one of their blended creations!

When in Newark, this is a must visit if you enjoy ice cream. Not a lot to write this time, but very cool inside of the location, with the front of the store layered with "clouds" and led lights flashing. Looked very cool. The ice cream itself was wonderful. There aren't a ton of different choices, but there is certainly something for everyone.

New, trendy downtown Newark ice cream parlor. Centrally located. Inside table and chairs under an installation of fluffy clouds on the ceiling glowing with interspersed neon lights. Pop music. Friendly and efficient service by high school or college students. Has times of low and medium traffic. Very basic flavors such as chocolate and vanilla sold in pints in the freezer while the other more special flavors are served in one of the menu options: basic ice cream scoops, specialty sundaes and milkshakes with lots of toppings, and ice cream "flight boards" of four chosen flavors. Yes samples are given. I chose to get the $10 flight board of four ice cream of my choice served in glass jars on a wooden serving board, pictured below. I thought it was a good amount of full size scoops and probably perfect to share with friends or family. My flavors were sea salt chocolate truffle, peanut butter, blue moon, and birthday cake. Chocolate truffle: nice balanced salty and sweet, but I wanted either more richness or more truffle pieces. Peanut butter: was recommended as a popular flavor and it exceeded expectations. Chock full of peanut texture and swirls. And very creamy! Recommended. Blue moon: Tasted a bit like coconut and something tropical. The flavor for me was too light though. I wished for a fuller flavor like the vivid color. Kind of a sherbet texture. Birthday cake: just like the name, vanilla cake flavor with some rainbow sprinkles swirled in. However again I thought there could be more sprinkles, more creamy richness, etc. With the exception of peanut butter flavor, I thought the ice cream was a bit light in flavor, as well as missing some density either in fillings or in general texture. I can see some of the flavors working better as background to the specialty toppings on the menu, or in a cone which gives its own texture, rather than in a glass. Therefore if you are considering the flight board I recommend the flavors which are heavier in fillings if possible. Or consider the cones which might work out to a similar price if you get two scoops for $4.99 each. However, I do think you might get a bit extra ice cream in the flight board. I do not remember how many scoops exactly it was in the flight board. Go to Drip Dreams Facebook for a few coupons kind of like a lottery.

Love it! Not only is it fun walking in the door to see the clouds on the ceiling, the bright decor and informative menu, the staff is fantastic!! These guys work hard to do all they can to greet and serve everyone, no matter how many guests are in the building. Great concept, really fun and very delicious

We are a family of four that went in there and I would love to tell you that the ice cream is good or bad but frankly I do not know as we stood there for almost 15 minutes watching a girl fiddle with a can of peanut butter trying to get it open she never addressed us except for right before we walked out the door she looked up at us and went back to what she was doing so I would not recommend the place because if they have something that they feel they need to do it obviously comes before the customer and frankly the fact that she kept blowing bubbles while she was doing it and popping her gum was a little bit annoying
