Twice now I've ventured in here to get my erstwhile favorite item on their menu, cold sesame noodles. Easy, hmmmm?? Nope!! Tonight for the second time, my cold sesame noodles were HOT!!! Yuck!!! Picky, yes, entitled, maybe, but how can you mess this up?!? It's a hot summer day and I ordered a cold meal for a reason!! Adios, DK, there are plenty of other mediocre Chinese restaurants in town that can get an easy order like this right!! :-(

3 Stars for the food, it was hot, tasty and a good portion for the money. We also received 3 fat, crispy, egg rolls, still hot but filled w/lots and lots of cabbage. It would been 5 stars if my order was correct. 1 star lost because even though I CLEARLY specified that they please ADD paper plates and forks. We're staying at the Marriott and ordered via Door Dash (Which was a good experience.)No plates, 3 really cheap, flimsy plastic forks, no soy sauce and FOUR TINY napkins. 1 star lost because I ordered "Crispy, Boneless Spareribs" and received plain, sliced bbq pork, NOT spareribs, see pics. The food wasn't cheap and there was a $2.99 delivery charge, so why no plates or forks?

It's the best Chinese restaurant I've ever had. Sweet and sour chicken and spring rolls are delicious

Has to be the best Chinese food in Springfield. It has a menu of typical Chinese favorites. The inside has lots of places to sit. It's usually empty. This is more of a pickup and takeout. I had the Szechuan Bean Curd. It's about $8 for the only portion. This item doesn't have lunch and dinner portions like most of the rest. It's no frills. Whether you get dine in or takeout, you get the same container. That's right. You get a takeout container when you eat it there. As for the food, it's pretty good. The bean curd just had too much sauce. It was swimming in it. The item was appropriately spicy. It's payment system has been mentioned a lot. It's pay before you eat. This is pretty common in a lot of Chinese restaurants.

The General Tso's Chicken was very old and tuff to chew!! The dish my wife ordered was a beef and veggie dish, the veggies had a smell to them. She only took two bites of her food. I will never go back to this place. It is old take out only. The egg rolls were good but that is all!!

Ordered through Door Dash and its been the best I've received yet. Unfortunately, the dasher's name didn't come up.The food is great. I ordered crab rangoon and chicken and broccoli. The rangoon had the most filling of any I've had in springfield. It was well drained, crispy, and the filling was savory. The chicken and broccoli was tender and the pieces weren't huge, so they were easy to manage with chopsticks. Flavorful and delicious.

I agree with the other reviews that the lady working the counter is very short with you and just wants you to hurry so ultimately she can get you out. I don't mind the rudeness because normally the food is good; not great but good for this side of town. I ordered then went to sit in my car just outside the door. You could see my car from the register as parking is within 3 feet of the front door. I was the only customer and I told her I would be sitting in my car. The place stinks and I just don't want to wait inside. My food was ready but she never even came to the door to signal it was ready, or how about some customer service and even walk the 5 feet from behind the counter to the front door and bring it to me. You won't get any of that here. However, the food quality has really gone down hill over the last year. My guess is the old man who kept those young boys in line has died or quit working there. The egg rolls were actually spoiled. The cabbage inside the roll was soured. The beef and broccoli had 4-5 pieces of meat that were so tough you couldn't chew them so we spit them out. The chicken in garlic sauce had few pieces of chicken and they too were very tough. My guess is they'd microwaved the chicken to thaw but in the process actually cooked it. Just not good food, definitely not good service but it never had been. It's just sad that it's another place to have to cross off my list.

We celebrated a birthday for our grandson visiting for the week from Georgia. He requested Chinese and Dragon China has been pretty good in the past. We placed an order that totaled $68.00. The only items that were edible were the cabbage rolls and crab Rangoon. The chicken was dry, hard, overcooked on both General Cho dinners. All the fried rice was dry and not edible. And NEVER order the top dollar lobster fried rice it was finely chopped and not identifiable. I'm pretty sure it was imitation. Complete waste and will never ever order from there again. I was hesitant when she told me 68 dollars worth of food would be ready to pick up in 10 minutes!!!! Really? I feel stupid. I know better. Never again.

I read other reviews of this place and I'm sorry to even be writing this here. Probably this place was great once upon a time. Not this week. The lady was not short tempered with me. There isn't much to say about service because you get your food through a clear plastic box designed to keep people out while the covid 19 goes away. I just have to say the food is terrible. Low standards and I mean very low standards are needed and a lot of courage to eat there again. Like I said before I hate writing this because I know this is people's livelihoods but this is really bad. I ordered a plate that had black babycorns. Like If they were rotten. I did not tried them to see if they were or not. Dumplings smelled as of old pork also gone bad. Greasy and disgusting. The impression was so bad that I tried the chicken combination ( I will not disclose what it was to not be identified) and left most of it. Left all the dumplings and didn't even try the egg roll. My wife didn't even touched her food. I know some of these places have gone through some bad times being closed for weeks but that doesn't mean you should serve your customers what didn't get used and spoiled through all those weeks. If you look at my reviews I do a lot of Chinese food takeout reviews. It is one of my favorite foods. This place definitely reinforces the stereotype of poor sanitary practices in Chinese take out.
