Don's Downtown Diner

Summary: good QUALITY food at a fair (not cheap) price. WoW! Don's does not disappoint! Burgers were great - I ordered Blue cheese / bacon and da wife the burger with portabella mushroom. Don't miss this place - great service as well. Next time it's the breaded tenderloin.

Delicious Patty melt! Hand-cut French fries and onion rings. The service was spectacular. It's a small little dinner, so you may have to wait a bit for seating, but it's well worth it!

Yum!!! If you're in the area you have to stop in for a bite! Not familiar with the area but ran into this diner. You can tell they have a lot of regulars and have been around for a while. Very fast service! We sat at the bar and could hear all of the food being cooked right in front of us. Great prices, and they even have a food challenge for $65! These burgers were the 1/4 pound but they also have half pound available. So many options on the menu, I will have to come back and try a milkshake and something else. Casual, friendly place! Must try!

As I ate the burger it juiced all over my hands, I love it when a burger is great like that! I also had onion rings and Cole slaw. Both were really good. My son had the bacon & blue burger with fries. He said it was delicious. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

Yes! Go here. Order cheeseburgers, French fries and milkshakes. You WON'T be disappointed. The owner served us and she was genuinely kind and excellent at what she does.Definitely a fan!

Very nice diner. My burger was excellent. It was big and a bit sloppy, too much to finish in one sitting. Adding an egg was a welcome option. The bacon on my burger was nice, but not quite as crispy as it probably should be. I'm sure next time if I ask for my bacon to be crispy, they'll oblige. The fries were, I believe, fresh cut and were fresh hot, crispy and delicious. No breakfast items, which was a missed opportunity. Server was friendly and efficient. Thanks! Chicken salad was nice, but perhaps a little pickle-heavy.

My colleague and I visited Don's today for our lunch break. First let me say that this little town is such a cool place. Everyone is friendly and happy to chat and make suggestions of places to visit. Now for the food at Dons... I had the Body Bearder Burger.. the mix of bacon, peanut butter and jelly was amazing. The waitress was friendly and service was quick.

Great sandwiches and fries at a reasonable price. Very friendly owner. Test tasted the homemade bbq sauce that my brother was using as a dipping sauce and it was awesome -- obviously homemade with a nice bit of molasses in it. Although none at our table ordered the rack of ribs, I saw a serving at the next table and it looked phenomenal. If in Bellefontaine, definitely check it out. It's just at the edge of a great downtown. But I'd go one further; this place is a destination restaurant and I'd go to Bellefontaine just to go here.

This place has some great inventive burgers!! Staff was very attentive. Try the mustard!! Overall a great place for lunch

This place is AMAZING!! The owners are so friendly and attentive. The burgers are always so so good with their hand cut fries. The tilapia from Kingdom Fish is delicious. This is a very clean and quaint diner. Tonya and Krista are such friendly and helpful servers. Everyone needs to make this a frequent place to dine at!!!!
