Don Deme Tacos

I've had a handful of types of food at Don Deme. And let me just say I haven't had one bad thing there. The staff there is patient and kind. Are food was hot and delicious. And they have a tv set up and the walls are painted a very cool orange. Also the tables are very colorfully decorated. Would recommend to anyone that likes Mexican

Don Deme has become one of my favorite spots in Cbus. My partner and I went for a late dinner after our Plan A fell through. Luckily, this spot is no consolation prize. It's a bit unassuming from the outside and even on the inside, the decor isn't flashy or high-end. However, you have to visit them because they have excellent flavors and service. I ordered a pretty simple quesadilla with barbacoa and the normal sides of rice and fresh veggies. The barbacoa was so buttery smooth. It's also a huge portion for 12.99. Not pictured but they have amazing sauces, particularly their green sauce (if you are an early bird, try the chilaquiles with green sauce for breakfast). My partner and I could've finished the bottle in one sitting. Check them out if you're on the West side!

Oh my god try this place. A very unassuming hole in the wall restaurant in a tiny strip mall but the chilaquiles were out of this world.Its a small, casual restaurant with table service and a takeout counter. I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and birria (special they advertised on a chalkboard outside). The waitress recommended the green salsa over the red and it was SO GOOD. I could just live in that salsa. The meal itself was large and I definitely have leftovers but so excited for it. The rice was also great and well flavored and the mixture of spices, salsas, birria, cheese, chips, just amazing. I cannot recommend this enough after having it. I've had chilaquiles at various establishments in LA and this has been my favorite by far.If you want chilaquiles, please give this a try. Get the green salsa and you will not be disappointed!

I originally ordered a pollo taco and the special, a carne asada chimichanga. I enjoyed both but would get chicken in the chimichanga next time. The tortillas were really good. A big plus as it's a challenge to get quality corn or flour tortillas. Ordered a second pollo taco. Atmosphere is authentic Mexican. You come here for the food.

This place is so good. Ordered it for second weekend in a row (quesabirria tacos and nachos). Definitely some of the best tacos I've ever had!!

What a hidden gem! I like discovering these local, mom & pop restaurants. I typically stay away from franchises. We ordered tacos, mojarra (whole fried fish), & menudo. Delicious!!! Definitely check out this joint.
