Dollar Tree is my go-to chain for affordable finds, and love stopping out at this location when I am in there area. The store offers a great selection of cards for all occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, thank cards, etc.). Plus you can grab gift bags, tissue paper, and seasonal decorations. No matter what you are looking for this location pretty much has you covered covered. While I miss the day of $1 prices, they are starting $1.25 and up. This location is a solid choice for quick, affordable shopping with friendly employees. It is also located in the same strip mall as Kroger and down from one of my favorite Chinese restaurant, so you have a bunch of options in the surrounding area.

i've been to this Dollar Tree several times and they have, like most discount stores in this category, the standard kind of things for the house and kitchen that you would expect. It's a low cost variety store.I come here for greeting cards which are, you guessed it, a dollar each, sometimes two for a dollar! They're genuinely good quality cards, and in many of these type stores I usually wind up buying Hallmark brand. So here's the tip of the day:For the much lower price that you can buy the cards here than other full priced retail stores, and the cost of a postage stamp, it's pretty easy to start spreading some old school style joy to your friends, relatives, and loved ones.

I stopped in here just for a few things but had to leave because it was crazy busy! They had most lanes open which was nice but I just didn't have enough time to wait. I did notice they were putting out much more holiday stuff which looked nice and in general this store is usually a lot more kept up than other locations.

A lot has changed over the past few years--shoppingwise--in the western Hilltop. Target went bye-bye, and the satellite specialty stores near it are in decline, at best. Of course, across Wilson Rd, Great Western became a ghost world a long time ago. And, the Sears closing at Westland marked the official end of its existence. RIP. What's left standing, and alive, is the shopping strip from Kroger to the pet store on Soldano. So, it gets busy sometimes, particularly on weekends. The local Dollar Tree stores that used to be Deal$ have been undergoing a significant transition since the takeover. The quality of the merchandise has improved, the number of lines carried has tightened up, and they're not as "junky" as they used to be (nothing could be as junky as Dollar Tree-owned Family Dollar, except maybe competitor Dollar General, both of which are under pressure). I was pleasantly surprised that the Everything's A $1 (another Dollar Tree takeover) theme of Deal$ remained after the name change. My much-labored point is that the stores with a green Dollar Tree logo on the building are getting better. The one on Soldano is no exception. With that comes increased business. But, with cartloads overflowing with $1 stuff, it takes forever to check out. Of course it does. Think grocery store during Thanksgiving week, except it's every day at Dollar Tree...again, especially on weekends. If you're in a hurry, you should have been there yesterday. The Dollar Tree on Hilliard-Rome Rd (when are they going to bite the bullet and drop the 'Rome' part?) is faster. Its employees have been there forever or longer, and there's more of them. I think that, in time, the Soldano location's speed will improve, but it will never be whiz-bang.Maybe there's some folks out there that'd be willing to volunteer to handle the party balloons on weekends? That would sure help.***

Meh. I don't really have a great review, because it's just ordinary. Nothing wrong with the place, it's what you would expect from a dollar store. At least this is one of the dollar stores were everything really is a dollar.

I love Dollar Tree, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. This area is pretty sketchy. OK, it's very sketchy, but it's the closest Dollar Tree. Have only been there twice and decided I'm going to stick to other locations from now on. This store is pretty small and packed with long lines. We only got a few items but decided to put them back because we didn't want to go through the line. We were there early afternoon on a weekday. Apparently, a lot of people are out of work in this area or work nights or something. Have never seen so many people out during this time of day anywhere. We only were because hubby had a rare day off work. It is also very disorganized and cluttered in there. The Hilliard-Rome location is like night and day to this one. There is apparently a Grove City store too but it's only coming up on Dollar Tree's website so not sure if it's a new location or what, but will look into it (We're in the Grove City area.).
