Dizurts Custom Cakes and More

I love visiting bakeries, so when I passed by DiZurts today, I had to stop. Mike, the owner, greeted me enthusiastically. He shared that the shop is 7 years old. They make custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, bars, and breakfast treats like fritters and donuts. Everything on display was beautiful: the cupcakes were decorated with care and detail, and the cookies were artistic! I opted for a double chocolate cupcake and a peanut butter chocolate cupcake. Delicious! The chocolate cake is moist, and the chocolate frosting is smooth, rich, and fudgy. The same is true of the peanut butter icing: it's rich and peanutty. The cupcakes are sweet but just the right amount--they're not overly sugary or cloying. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying out cookies or fritters!

Omg!! Best cake that I've had in a longggggggg time! We came into town for my twin sisters birthday & were looking for a cake for them. We were thinking of just getting something standard from Walmart, Kroger or giant eagle but I found this place online & figured we would go check it out because we were right down the road. We almost didn't make it in because it's hard to find. We drove right past it in the plaza because there really isn't a sign up but right when we were about to leave I spotted it & am so glad that I did! It's very clean & nice inside! They had full cases of lovely looking treats! The lady that helped us was very patient, which was amazing because we were VERY undecided about what we wanted. She was also very accommodating. The cake we chose was already decorated for Halloween & she moved some things around for us & turned it into the perfect birthday cake! We also got some cupcakes which were soooooo good! Unfortunately some of them didn't even make it to the party Most of them also aren't pictured here because the kids got a little over excited about them before I could even take a picture. Highly recommend this place!

I recently purchased a cake and several cupcakes from Dizurts after a recommendation from a woman who worked in the bakery at Giant Eagle. I was a bit discouraged when the GE bakery did not have what I needed however, I was pleasantly surprised by her recommendation of a local competitor. It said a lot about her character and the lovely cakes at Dizurts.

I find every excuse I can to come here. Everything is good. No, make that amazing. Always a good variety of cupcakes. And the Vanilla (which can be dry at some bakeries) is delicious. Try the Raspberry bars, you will not regret it. If you need a decorated cake, the prices cannot be beat. I didn't book in time and had to get a cake from a different bakery. It was 3X the price and not as intricate and definitely not as delicious. Will not make that mistake again!

The cake was delicious! Very fresh and the perfect size! I also purchased some of the cake pops and those were amazing! They have a large variety of baked goods that all looked yummy. I was helped as soon as I walked in and the gentleman was so friendly. I will definitely be back and I'm so happy to have a go to bakery!!

Was visiting from Arizona and good sent us to this great bakery! A lot of variety, very tasty! Friendly owners. Will visit again next time I am in town!

You're paying these people $40 & up for a cake that you can go to the store and buy for a dollar and bake yourself. Or better yet you could throw some ingredients together in your cabinet and make your own cake that taste 100 times better than this place!! Throw some icing on it and call it a day. You're going to be much happier than spending your hard earned money getting ripped off at this place to get a disgusting tasting cake!!! All my other messages have gone ignored since.

I too bought a cake that was full price but later noticed they had been advertising the same cake in their facebook advertising for over e week. it was dry and not edible. waste of money

5/5 we went for a weekend visit and the owner is such a gentleman and even gave us extra goodies. The cupcakes are outstanding and everything is reasonably priced out. I would recommend.
