DISTRICT WEST - A Place Where All Are Welcome! District West is located at 145 N 5th Street in Columbus, Ohio. Plenty of street parking in the area and some pay lots nearby. We found street parking just arround the corner on Long Street and paid with the ParkCbus app.We came out to celebrate a friend's 49th Bday and saw that there was the Virginia West's 25th Silver Anniversary Show that night so we had to attend. We had purchased tickets a few weeks in advance and so glad we did as it had to have been a sold out show! The show was pheonmenal and the performers did all the favorite numbers from over the years. The Columbus pride number really brought back memories from being there. Overall, the show was a bit long, especially for a Sunday night with work Monday, but with the amount of songs and performers I don't see how it could have been any shorter. They really did the Silver Anniversary show justice and it was something special to see. This was our second production show at District West that we have been able to attend and both times it was such an inviting, fun, safe, and wonderful experience. Distric West does have two all gender restrooms available an a full bar. We were fortunate enough to have that reserved a table for the show and had table service which was perfect. Kudos to our server! Our server and the entire staff were aboultely great and the preformers were simply amazing! The venue has open standing areas but in my personal opinion the reserved tables and bar seats are the way to go for a little extra money for a show! Absolutely recommend checking out District West and looking forward to the next time we can attend.Check out thier website for more info at districtwest614.com

My first time, won't be my last, was for a Halloween Show.... and WOW! I've seen a lot of the performers at Axis, and had no idea where they went ---- FOUND them!!!The atosphere was amazing! It was a nice, more open, space compared to other venues I have been to. The bartenders were attentive and extremely helpful. There appeared to be no judgement - no bitchy, better than you vibes at all - such a variety of patrons coming and going. All, I know is that I had such a great evening. The show was amazing, what fantastic evening!I hope to be back for many, many others shows -- especially Halloween as it's the only one worth celebrating.

I have been coming here for a couple of months now, and it's always a great time for me and my girlies!! The atmosphere is always welcoming and fun. It is 18+, has great shirley temples, and the entertainers are all so fun and fabulous. There is no pressure to 'fit-in' and it is a come as you are sort of place. Highly recommend for a fun show and a more "laid-back" club experience

Very fun and friendly gay bar. Went for a game show and drag show and had a great time! Drinks were very good and balanced, not too strong - which is kind of rare for a gay bar

What's wrong with this LGTQ bar in Columbus, Ohio? Everything! Food, ambiance, performances, and especially service. I was at the outdoor patio. There was a garish drag queen smoking. Others were vaping. I had forgotten my rolling papers. I asked the drag queen if she had a few rolling papers I could use. Guess what? The stud staff member told me I had to leave! HUH? When is it a crime to ask a person for rolling papers. Don't waste your money at District West! Go next door to Slammers! The staff at District Will will evict you for trying to get some rolling papers! I won't ever give them one more penny!!!!!!

I love coming here. My only issue is the last show I went to they let people stand near the bar where you order. When I was doing that at a show they told me not to. When people do this it block the view for those who have drink rail seating and blocked the walk way and makes it unsafe.
