Dirty Franks Hotdog Palace

Sad to say this was originally my second choice, but the right one. It hit the spot and the customer service was pleasant and professional. They didn't have root beer is the only reason they are missing a star.

Skip. Took the hot dogs off of the buns and ate them without. Drinks were sub par, only had two staff working and they were doing the best they could but it still wasn't worth going back.

Went to Hollywood casino tonight and thought we do a little progressive dining, so we started at Dirty Franks Hotdog palace. I chose to get the wiener basket that comes with choice of two hotdogs and either tots or fries.I chose the traditional coney with dace, mustard and onions, and the Cleveland dog that is topped with chili, slaw and fresh cut fries. And for my side I chose the French fries because they are hand cut. The coney dog was good flavor, but lacked a little kick that I wanted. And the Cleveland dog was a little heavy on the slaw and therefore masked the rest of the flavors. My wife ordered the West Virginia spicy slaw dogs and she liked them, but thought the Sriracha drizzle on top was a bit heavy handed. She too chose the fries. Two wiener baskets for $26.00 not bad for Four gourmet hotdogs and two fries.

I thoroughly enjoy the 4th street location. The one in the casino is no where near their standards. We went as a group of six. Half of our hot dogs were cold. We got bacon and cheese fries and they were still raw. Took them back and the staff microwaved them, added more cheese, but they were still under cooked. All of the fries were undercooked and greasy. If this was your only experience at Dirty Franks you would never be back which is too bad because the 4th street location is fantastic.

I was initially excited that Dirty Franks had a west side location again after closing the one on West Broad. If you've been to the downtown location, this casino location (franchise?) will feel like the uncanny valley. It's Dirty Franks, but not. Employees are rude and obnoxious, food was cold, and it was missing all of the grungy charm of the original. If you aren't already at the casino, just go to the downtown location.

We had dirty Frank's at the Lower.com stadium and the hotdogs were hard to chew and rubbery. Never again. I couldn't even eat it and I was starving.

It's a landmark great owner best cheap food in Columbus I recommend anyone visiting Columbus should at least make this a lunch destination

I tried Dirty Franks in the casino twice. Both times the hot dogs were barely lukewarm. So don't eat here until someone develops the technology to heat a hot dog.

I accidentally ordered my hot dog without a gluten free bun and realized it after we paid for it. Nakia told the cook immediately which I appreciated. He acted like it was a huge deal. When I tried to give her my card for the up charge fee she stated there was no way to fix it (not refunding our original and ordering the right way...nothing). I apologized again and we went to sit down. When our order came out both hot dogs were in the same box...I have a gluten ALLERGY. We didn't make a big deal about it and I will NEVER send food back. If you have a food allergy definitely DO NOT go here...they seemed to careless that they could harm somebody.

Service fine, food not so great. (cold and bland) Will probably not eat there again.
