First time here and it was good. Had the Brisket and Slaw Dog and a Chili Dog...plenty to fill you up, couldn't finish the chili dog. Plenty of selections and sides, I'll come back.

Cool decor and great service. Hot dogs had fun name options on the menu. The hot dogs were boiled with a decent casing and they were not bad how ever; grilling them would have taken them to the next level. The hot dog I had came with sprinkle cheese and was not very hot in temp. The cheese on my hot dog had no melt at all. If the hot dog was boiling hot water before being placed on the bun, the cheese would have had a little melt coming directly from boiling water. They did have a vegan hot dog option. Street parking available. Plenty of seating.

I mean, what can you say about a couple of dirty dogs? I slid into Columbus on a midnight plane from San Francisco, where I call my home(but I'm from PA). They don't like hot dogs. It's just plain weird. You'd think with all the bougie food options, something like Dirty Franks would be around, but nope. Me and my driving mate split two dogs and that was enough for a snack. Lemonade was on point and they had a nice outdoor standing bar situation where we could eat with our dog.Everyone was super friendly! Would totally return there for snickity snacks!

Service was exceptional. The drink was super tasty and you can't go wrong with a classic beer. Hot dog was so so. But the fries I'd come back for anytime!

Damn good hot dogs in a cool setting. We sat at the bar and were able to gaze at all the wall art while we feasted on some great hot dogs and tater tots. The tots were just the right amount of crispy . I had the CBJ and a Chicago dog. They were both good, but the Chicago dog was awesome! It was as good as any Chicago dog I have ever had. The food came out super fast and the servers were friendly.

It's been some time since I've visited - I've done a couple lunches here, and every time? The service has been great, the dogs have been tasty, and they have REVAMPED the menu! Some of my favorite dogs are gone (no more kimchi!) but others have been added - takis! - and they still just hit the spot.A full dog that doesn't leave you with more bun.Their kitchen staff was running around like crazy with a full house outside, my buddy and I sat at the bar (perfect, IMO) and enjoyed a couple dogs.I'm glad they're opening on campus, because they're clearly ready to branch out a bit (and then they'll be closer to me!)Thanks for sticking the landing and coming back!

It ain't a Chicago dog from Gene & Jude's, but dang Columbus definitely pressing the hot dog game with Dirty Franks! I had the Spicy slaw Dog and asked staff for a recommendation and went with their CBJ. Talk about putting a delicious dog in the belly! Definitely going back when I'm in town!

Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the savory richness of the mac and cheese perfectly complementing the juicy hot dog nestled within a toasted bun. The crispy exterior of the mac and cheese added a delightful crunch, while the tangy sweetness of the berry cider provided a refreshing contrast. I ended up ordering it two nights in a row. The first night I ordered two Chicago Style dogs and fries. One dog was enough. I barely could half of the second one. It was really good though. The fries were good. Just way too much salt for me though. The second night I ordered a Chili dog, fries and a strawberry milkshake. All was really good. Still to salty on the fries though. I would eat here again when in town.

I had been craving a hot dog for the past couple of days, so I did some research and found that Dirty Frank's Hot Dog came highly recommended. Today, I finally decided to give it a try.Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. The service was poor--I sat for about 10 minutes while people who arrived after me were attended to much quicker. When the waitress finally took my order, I had to repeat myself five times and make three corrections just to ensure I got what I wanted. For clarity, I don't have an accent or anything that would make me difficult to understand, so this was incredibly frustrating.I ordered two hot dogs: a chili dog and the Dog from Hell. When my order arrived, both hot dogs were lukewarm at best, with the buns being slightly warm but the hot dogs themselves practically cold. To make things worse, the chili was also cold. I took one bite of each, hoping the flavors would make up for the poor temperature, but nothing about them stood out--definitely not worth the price or the hype. After those two bites, I asked for the check, paid, and left. Between the lackluster atmosphere, subpar service, and the disappointment of the food itself, I wouldn't recommend this place. It was a letdown, especially considering how often it was recommended.1/10.
