Food is lame for the price. Was a rushed experience. Would not recommend. Nothing exciting about the menu or the service.

Sadly, this is closed down. We had reservations with our Groupon and right at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak we were told that due to infastructure issues that they will no longer be doing this. Bummed =(

I recently surprised my wife with a dinner at Dinner in the Dark. Each year, I plan a surprise outing with her where we do something that would normally be outside of our comfort zone and I don't tell her what it is until we walk into wherever it is that we are going. This year, this was the event. While normally a dinner out wouldn't qualify, a Blind Ninja Dinner Challenge led by Super Ninja Master Marty definitely does. I'll speak in generic terms to avoid spoiling the specific surprises that the Ninja staff has planned for you, but let me reassure you that you will have a fun time. Just don't wear your best clothes because there is a greater than 0% chance that you may wind up with some of your food on you (unless you are a stellar ninja yourself). The evening begins when you are greeted at the door and a brief overview of the activities are explained to you (pay attention to the suggestion to go to the restroom before starting. You don't want to be the ninja that needs to find a restroom blindfolded! )You then need to pick YOUR specific ninja name (if you aren't overly creative, google ninja name generator before you get there). After that, take a trip over to the stocked bar for beverage while you await the rest of the group. One suggestion, take a lot of friends with you. This is definitely an activity that, while fun for a couple on a date, would be much more fun in a larger group. If you contact them in advance, you can likely get a group discount too. Once everyone is there, the rules are explained and the fun begins.Your first ninja act besides picking your name is selecting your custom ninja goggles. Once those are on, you won't see for the next 90 minutes or so. You are escorted back to your table and given the backstory. Your first challenge is simply finding your chair and sitting down. You are then served a multi-course (I think 5 courses) meal ranging from appetizers to entrees to desserts and more. Each meal item comes with more backstory, contests, and getting to know you activities. When you are done for the evening, your masks are removed and you get to see the Ninja staff and hear a bit more about what happened behind the scenes while you were blindfolded. All in all, a very memorable and fun evening.

This is experience is a must! Super fun and different. It's like an escape room but with food. Our host Ninja Swift Kick was amazing! Everyone there was energetic and excited for us to be there. Although there are several courses, they are not full courses. The meal leaves you wanting more but was still good food! Definitely recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty as it can get messy. Overall great experience!

This experience was unique, hilarious, and great for a date night. Ninja Libby was great, entertaining, and explained the challenges well. The food was tasty in the 5-course meal, but don't expect to get full as it's not a usual dining experience.

This has to be the stangest thing I have ever done. Not only was the food subpar but not filling. We went to McDonalds afterword and there food was better! The "chalenges" got increasingly weird and disgusting. If I pay $60 I at least expect the food to be good or at least filling. So in total I paied over 80$ for this and fast food. Would not recommend

One of my favorite date nights that we've had. Jared was a great dinner ninja and made the experience awesome. The food was amazing I tried some things that I would never have tried in my life and they turned out to be amazing!

Had a blast doing the blind ninja challenge! Our group of 7 visited during lunchtime. Master ninja and ninja Libby were very entertaining. Be prepared for an interactive experience! Food was good, but not 5 star. Full bar was available downstairs .

I know that not being able to see what you're eating freaks most people out, but I promise you this is a fun experience and the food is all very good, so be adventurous and give it a try! Chip D did a great job of giving details of how the evening goes so the only thing I'll add is to suggest to look for a coupon code or Groupon for a discount because I do think that the normal price is a bit high. I also agree that while my husband and I had a lot of fun doing this as a date night, doing it with a group of friends would be a blast. The reason I took off a star is that I'm pretty sure we were their 1st or 2nd group ever doing it and they didn't have it quite all polished up (a few bumps in the road and one course was cold), but I'm sure they're pros at it now. Be brave- I promise you're not eating anything gross and you will have fun!!
