Off route 3 in Westerville, Oh uptown district and tucked behind Java Central is a pizza place called DiCarlo's. There is no real inside seating but they share a courtyard and brick walkway with the coffee shop which has plenty of outside seating. Parking is easily found behind the shop. The pizza is not traditional Columbus style, here they put cold cheese on top of the freshly baked pie. (I didnt think I would like it, I was wrong). The idea is you shut the box and the heat melts the cheese. I was sooooo skeptical. However we opened the box and the cheese was melted and was probably the freshest mozzarella I had. The crust was light and had the perfect amount of crispness with the right sauce cheese ratio. I was pleasantly surprised and have been wanting more ever since we got home. Added bonus: There are twinkle lights in the courtyard which creates a nice mood at night and the coffee store had live music that you could enjoy sitting at the pizza place. It was a fun trip out! Will go back.

There is a reason why it was empty inside. I asked if they sell slices and the guys says yes. You are thinking it's a regular slice of pizza. The pizza is pretty much; Detroit style lunchable. $2 a slice and they bake the crust with the sauce first. And then put raw cheese and pepperoni on top and serve it to you. And it's a sizable square pizza and they only put three pepperoni on it. They rationing pepperoni out here!?!Pizza is an easy thing. It doesn't need to be a gimmick. I gave it two stars because the sauce is actually good. I threw it all out and went to Wendy's.

If you like oddly cold pizza and really bad service, this place is for you. Hourly staff tries to, but the owner is all over the place with weird attitude and vibe.

I'm a cheese pizza connoisseur. Vegetarian here, so I can't speak on their pepperoni. I'll try any cheese pizza and I can eat pizza multiple times per week if it's a very different type of pizza each time. That's where this place draws its strength for me: It's pretty different than any other pizza I typically eat.You have to know what you're getting here: a thinner crunchy square crust where cheese is added after the baking process. Expectations set?The menu is very limited here. No additional toppings other than pepperoni, which works for my tastes, but may not work for yours. Also, one size fits all. So for more than a couple of hungry people may require multiple pizzas. It's not terribly expensive by today's standards, but I'm an average pizza eater and i might be able to eat a full pizza here due to the thin crust and low topping amount.Bottom line: I'll come back because I'm in this area a lot and I'll seek this out when I want exactly this type of pizza. Not my every day preference, but I like it for what it is.

Decent food, uncomfortable service. The man making the pizza was literally yelling at the person at the register taking orders in what I felt was an uncomfortable, aggressive manner. Extremely unprofessional which is a shame. Made me reconsider not wanting a return trip.

The crust is very good, dry not enough sauce. If you don't like cheese on your pizza you'll like it. It was like 30$ for a pizza with "extra cheese" and the portion was similar to an 8-piece Jets, pizza. I spent alot of time in Buffalo, so I could get a huge sheet pizza, with tons of cheese and old world pepperoni for $25... That's with NY taxes and all the ingredients were local and fresh. I just have a hard time imagining why the price is so high. Just wander over to Main St. 150ft. away and see whatcha find...

Friday night, 30 minute pick up time given after ordering online. Waited an additional 15 minutes after arriving for pick up. Time is valuable, especially with 2 small kids in the car.The pizza roll was well worth the $5 and wish I would have gotten 2 for myself. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't anything exciting enough to bring me back for more. Overall, great location and addition for Uptown Westerville with an option to eat outside. I would go back for the roll.

The owner is extremely rude and the pizza was sub par. Sometimes you just get a bad batch and I'm usually willing to try places again, but not when it's combined with nasty service and an owner with a bad attitude. Don't waste your money.

They got our order wrong and they when we said something about it they started texting us and cursing and yelling and got abusive... Not reflective of Di Carlo's normal pizza or service...We were almost afraid to eat our pizza...The pizza was dry anyway...And we were all sick the next day!The whole atmosphere is scary!Avoid at all costs!

I'm very accustomed to the original pizza out of Steubenville and St Clairsville Westerville's Store can't compare. Dough is not spread right and is inconsistent , lacks enough sauce so is dry I just wish that they could make it the way that I grew up eating it.
