I've heard about this pizza for years fromA friend from Wheeling and was excited to stumble across it in Columbus. It's definitely different and I loved it! Super light and crispy crust. I recommend sausage and banana pepper.

We weren't sure if the pizza was cooked or not - i think they put the cheese on after the crust was done. Anyways, it was warm, so we tried it. Unique, not bad & not great. Curious to hear other opinions.

Surprisingly simple. Take out only. Cheese or pepperoni. No sizes, just slices. 2 slices, 6 slices, or a whole tray (24 slices). The only other thing on the menu is a pepperoni roll (cheese, pepperoni +/- banana peppers), served with marinara sauce.I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't the simplicity that is DiCarlo's Pizza. Touted as 'Ohio Valley Pizza', the uniqueness lies in the cooking method. The crust and homemade sauce are first cooked on rectangular steel pans, with the cheese and pepperoni added after the pies are removed from the oven.After taking the first bite, the first thing I noticed was how crispy the crust was. For a pizza with medium-thick crust, this was a pleasant surprise. I also really enjoyed the provolone cheese being about half melted. The pepperoni roll was like a mini calzone, and it was alright. I think it had too much breading to filling ratio for me. Overall though, I did enjoy the pizza and for the price, I will definitely be ordering again. In the age of customizability, I'm a little surprised that DiCarlo's has been able to hold it's own with only cheese and pepperoni. But that just goes to show that when done right, simplicity can go a long way.

1st night in Ohio and needed to get some food finally. Great crust, sauce flavor is great BUUUUTT NO the sauce to cheese ratio is horrible. If they fix that it would be a great pizza. Price was excellent if they actually had cheese on the pizza

I really enjoyed both the pizza and the pizza roll. I ordered just a cheese pizza. It's has a very unique taste. I really enjoyed the crispness of the crust and I think that using provolone cheese for this pizza is an excellent choice. I got the pizza roll with bannana peppers which was good as well. I will definitely get the pizza roll as well next time I get dicarlo's

I hope you dont have to use the restroom after you order. The owner was taking a #2 as we were waiting on our pizza, i asked to use the restroom and he said it was not for public use.

I couldn't gauge the pizza because they do not except U.S currency. credit card only. I will not ever support a company that doesn't except money for goods or service. I grew up with Dicarlos in Steubenville I even worked there. this is a far cry from how it used to be.
