Delaware Antique Mall

This place is giant and has something for everyone! Books, music, clothes, collectibles, you name it, they have it. My first 5 minutes inside I thought it was quite dainty, and then I turned the corner, and again, and again and it just kept going. When I needed something from a locked cabinet an employer was able to grab it for me and offered to hold onto it if I still had shopping to do. Everything is brought in by individual sellers and is priced how they want, so if you don't like the price it's the seller not the owner.

This store is two levels with lots of things to look at. It is was more furniture and home decor centered. There was a few books and dolls/toys and jewelry. The prices are decent, not too expensive! No comment on service, we did not buy anything.

This was a wonderful Antique store. We were visiting from Maryland and happened by late on a Friday evening. I was impressed that they were open until 8pm as many antique stores are only open until 5. This store was neat and tidy and a pleasure to visit! Note that they have a "no large bag policy" as often things get broken or damaged due to customer's large bags. I think this is a fine policy and I completely understand the need for such a policy as they want to avoid damage to their merchandise for their vendors. If you have a large bag they will hold it for you at the front of the store until you leave. The owner and those working there were very pleasant and kind. I even found a few pieces that I have been searching for at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for Pyrex the have a large selection of old pieces here! There are 2 floors to explore. If we come back to the area in the future, we will be sure to visit again!

My friend and I only popped in Delaware Antique Mall for a few minutes while we waited for a table at Amato's to become available. Good selection. of a variety of antiques. The one that sticks out in my memory is patterned Pyrex.

I came here with a client one day to pass some time & had a fun time. We looked around and they have a HUGE selection of wonderful things. The people there were absolutely lovely. So kind and super helpful! They had two dogs who were both very well behaved and they let us pet them. I love antique stores and will definitely be heading back again soon!

This place gets a 3 1/2 - 4 rating. It's better than 3, but doesn't get a 4. Prices were reasonable. Fairly large amount to see in here. Service was nice. Only draw back would be that it's not very big. A lot to see, but kinda crammed in in some areas. It's def worth a walk around.

Be careful buying albums from booth BB340. I paid $8.98 for a used Stones album. I've bought used albums many times from many different places. Buying used, I expect some scratches and imperfections; however, for the price paid, I fully expected the album to be playable. It was not. The album had a large chunk missing from the edge and was completely cracked from the edge to the middle. I suppose I should have checked closer before buying, but I've never purchased a completely unplayable album before. Lesson learned.

To me, this is the only Antique shop in Delaware worth a stop. You can usually find some interesting pieces in here ranging from victorian, art deco, retro.. you name it. The building is not ginormous, but there are plenty of vendor booths to look through. I usually come out of this place with a bag in hand. I think what I enjoy about this place is that it's not overfilled with junk like many of the other places. You won't find booths crammed with VHS tapes, and beanie babies. Could this place actually pay attention to what vendors they allow to rent? *gasp* The shock of it!!The owner may come off as cold to many, but just smile and go on about your day and she will go on about hers. This is usually a stop on any of my trips to downtown delaware. The only downside is parking, but that is with most businesses in the area.

All I know is that the woman is a crazy person, unable to even barter with someone who only thinks That their items are the greatest and starts yelling at you because they don't agree with your assessment.
