The coats outside are to die for. The red one is so lovely!
Their sign.
This place is an absolute catacomb of clothes. Yay!

My clothing size varies anywhere between a 14 and an 18 (i.e., plus-sized) and I have been so burned so many times by vintage and thrift stores that either don't have anything at all in my size, or have a few things that all look like giant paisley rain ponchos. So when I called Deja Vu in advance to ask if they had plus sizes and the girl on the phone said, "Yeah, of course!" I was very encouraged. When I got there, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they had a great selection of plus sizes (I only looked up through size 18 so I can't speak to the availability of larger sizes than that, but they had a LOT of 16s and 18s) in all of their categories. I was looking for casual pants, jeans, and casual skirts, and found a lot to choose from. The clothing was all in excellent condition, much of it with tags still on. Name-brand stuff; I noticed Old Navy, DKNY, Chico's, and Talbot's, just to name a few. And the prices were fantastic. I left with a bag full of four pairs of pants, a skirt, and a blouse, for about $50 total.I also have to say that the service was first-rate. When I entered the store, the saleslady (maybe the owner? Not sure) welcomed me, but kept her distance and didn't harass me. When my arms were full of items, she offered to put them in a fitting room for me. She made friendly and polite conversation and was helpful without being in my face (which I really hate at any clothing store, and it seems to be particularly bad at boutique vintage stores for some reason - but not here). This is definitely going to become one of my first-round stops when I need to buy clothes. Very pleased with my experience.

You may get déjà vu when you visit this store for a couple of reasons. One, the clothing is resale. Two, there are some very retro articles of clothing to be found. Essentially it is a store for ladies. Prices are decent to begin with and as a bonus every twenty days the price drops on the item until it is bought. Much of the merchandise is shirts, coats, jackets and dress suits. I saw some really nice things, especially coats, at a steal. In the back are the jeans. There are also lots of very elegant dresses for formal occasions. And if you are a shoe or purse fanatic, there are plenty of those as well. Most of the jewelry is on the gaudy side, but if you look really hard you can find some gems. Winter will be melting away and spring will chirp and flutter its way in soon, and so will the change in clothing as heavy coats will give way to shorts.

I absolutely love this shop! I have family that lives in Westerville, and whenever I visit them I have to come here too. I'm usually flying to and from Columbus by plane, but make sure to have room in my suitcase for a few things from Déjà Vu. Very nice staff and great selection of name brand clothes.

This consignment shop is varied and chock full. Seriously... we're talking constant clothing density here. (Pardon while I take a little bit of geeky pride in that phrasing.......... Okay. Done. Back to business.) Deja Vu is one of those stores where you will find something.... if you look long enough. There doesn't seem to be a consistent style of clothing here, so be prepared to find examples of every era. This is the kind of place I would go if I were looking for something for a period costume and didn't have all that much time to shop. There's a ton of things here, although there is a lot of variation in quality. My biggest qualm was with the jewelry, which felt way too overexcited-about-the-holidays-and-missed-when-big-brooches-went-out-of-style-ey for me. I honestly enjoy any opportunity to point at something and giggle, but this was too easy. The coat section has some honestly gorgeous finds. I am personally not a big fan of the fur coats, but I ran in to a couple of wool ones that I would love to add to my closet. I'm going to go with the coral reef metaphor for this place: there's tons of variation and something for every animal to eat if it spends enough focused time hunting. Just don't get eaten by an octocloth before you do. I bid you happy hunting.

SO DISAPPOINTED. I took items multiple times to sell and have shopped and purchased items as well. Recently, I went in to pick up an item that hadn't sold and was told it was donated because I didn't pick it up on time (by the date on the paperwork). This is true; I didn't pick it up on time but that was due to my son and I having covid so I couldn't get to the store. Perhaps I could have called but if you've had covid, then you know you aren't exactly thinking clearly most of the time. So rather than giving me a courtesy call, the owner just donated my brand new coat (honest - worn twice). Then when I asked about it, she left me a very aggressive and nasty voicemail. A kind and compassionate message would have gone further. Every place has been compassionate and flexible with their customers/residents, etc., due to covid but not this business. I couldn't let this one go because this was handled badly. I obviously won't be back to shop or sell as I can't deal with a business that I can't trust and has no compassion or care for their customers.
