Dee'S 50'S Place

Came here because it was a diner. Love diners. And I believe it was on New Day Cleveland and wanted to check it out. 3 of us went on a Saturday afternoon. It's a cute place and cute decor. Definitely diner decor. There were a decent number of people eating. Seemed to be a mix of Bfast and lunch meals being served. Also seemed like a lot of regulars because employees were spending time talking to certain tables. We got the roast beef open face with gravy and mashed potatoes, the patty melt with onion rings, and the BBQ burger with fries. The roast beef was bland. Needed more seasoning. The 2 burgers were well done. We both liked them medium rare. But we weren't asked how we like them cooked when we ordered. Onion rings were breaded and only got about 5. Fries were abundant and fresh cut. Much better than the onion rings. Overall the food was just average if not slightly below average. Prices were good. Parking plentiful. Service was not great. No one asked us if we wanted refills or to check on us. We had to ask for our check after we waited awhile. Probably not a repeat.

Costs an extra $2 of you share your meal. Hot dog was a cheap kind. Also had chicken Philly, it was missing peppers. Atmosphere is a cute 50's style. Service was fine. Will not go back

Food is excellent service is excellent ambiance is cool easy to find a place to park your place has all kinds of pictures and decals of old cars, race cars, different 45 records on the wall

Awesome experience! This is definitely a super fun place for a meal. Love the 50's theme! We were able to seat ourselves. As soon as we sat down, a server came to the table with utensils, menus and took our drink order. You will want to save room for dessert here. They have custom banana splits. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and tasted delicious! Food was seasoned just right. The meat was very tender! They have all you can eat specials, which we didn't do because we wanted to save room for desserts. Even though there is an ice cream menu, everything can be customized. Staff was very attentive, friendly, helpful and worked hard to make sure everyone's orders were just right! Looking forward to eating here again soon!

I have to say we probably won't be returning here. The service was fine and the waitress was lovely. The tables were clean as well. Loved the 50's and 60's music playing as well. The food however was disappointing. My mother and father got patty melts and I got the western burger. When we first took our bites we noticed the texture of the meat was off and it had these holes in them. My dad noted they were probably tenderized. Then I noticed a few spots of mold on the bun. The pecan pie was good but I'm not sure if it was homemade. This may be one of those places you only go for breakfast but we're not going to take that chance. Either way, stay away from lunch.

easy quick diner with good food! it's not some knock-your-socks-off, best food i've ever tasted place, but sometimes, you just want to relax and enjoy your food... the two of us are for under $20, including pop (of which they carry coke AND pepsi, fyi!), and we left full and satisfied! my old-school pulled pork was well done, the meat was moist but not greasy, simply served over texas toast smothered in gravy.... yep, it's good and has surviveso long for a reason!

The 1st. and 2nd time eating there was good. The food, service, and ambiance were satisfying. However, our food the third time was way below par. The swiss steak didn't look, or taste nothing like swiss steak, and the pop tasted like seltzer. They may have got a new cook, but we don't plan on going back any time soon. We feel bad because the owners are pleasant.

Came to Dees tonight cause we had walked out of Tusks in Barberton Oh cause of RUDE service Dees was Awesome Great sevice!!!Great food !! We were treated like family even the owner was friendly to us!! Will definatle be back for thier homemade tasty food and to be greated wotj friendly employees Thx Dees's

I've eaten here on many occasions. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. The food is great comma the service is Very good. The prices are great i've taken my family there many times.All 18 of them As For the all you can eat fish, For the all you can eat fish.Call naIf you have enough room to actually order seconds., You have a much larger stomach than I do period this is probably the best fish I've eaten anywhere Local, including including Barberton, Wadsworth and Akron J. Lindsey, Wadsworth oh .

Been here before and the breakfast is ok. Stopped in today, only one server working, place was half full. We sat for almost 20 minutes with no service at all before we gave up and left. Won't be back.
