Dante's Pizza

For years I've been hearing that I need to try place. So last Saturday was the day. I was in the area wasn't really hungry but I did want to try. I ordered a pep, sausage, Ohio, garlic and banana pepper. As I was waiting on my order the incredible smell got to me. So once I got to the car I couldn't wait to try. Of course I burnt all the skin off the top of my mouth but still so good. Let me tell you that one peace wasn't going to do it so as I was driving I took another and another piece of like I said I was driving and this thing incredible crust held up. Not one topping ended up in my lap or on my shirt must of had 5 or 6 pieces on my way home (pic of what was left when I got home) The balm e of flavors was near perfect, maybe a bit more garlic would have been nice for my liking would have been nice but like I said near perfect. It wasn't lacking in any other topping and cheese. The staff was extremely friendly My only regret was not trying this place sooner. Will definitely return. Also I will just add I purposefully didn't eat it all cause I wanted to see how good it was the next day. Loved it out of the fridge also micro waived a few pieces turned out very good but air frying was perfect. Can't go wrong with this place.

Small pizzeria with a big heart feel, you can watch them prepare your pizza upon entering the restaurant. Food; Started with Salad, which was very very good loaded with fresh ingredients. Pizza, ordered a pep, sausage and mushroom was delicious, the meats were all tasty. One of my top places so far. The beer was cold, and hit the spot. Service, everyone was great.

Always amazing pizza, salad and subs! Love their homemade sausage! I craved it with my first born(26 years ago). It still taste the same. Their cauliflower crust is amazing as well.

This place makes top 3 pizza restaurants list in the city. Christina and Jeff are extremely welcoming.Wish you guys nothing but the best. I will be a regular.

We just picked up a pizza from Dante's, our favorite pizza place. They accidentally gave me the wrong pizza (there were two of us with the same name). I called to tell them about the mix up.Ten minutes later someone showed up at our front door with the right pizza. Now that's service! Good people.

This mom and pap pizzeria couldn't get any better. The pizza is one of a kind. The sauce is delicious and it's the perfect ratio of toppings and cheese. They used to be cash only but now accept Venmo. My only wish is that I had discovered them sooner!

First time visitors this evening. So very good! The staff was fantastic from the moment you step in the door all the way through your dinner experience and out the door. Service is key to me and everyone was fantastic. Very authentic and it was very refreshing. Beer and wine only. Glasses of wine are $6 a piece and they have red and whites. We split an Italian sub and a 10" veggie which was SO VERY GOOD. There are about 12 tables total in the small dining room and it's a casual environment. When you go in simply take a seat and you'll be waited on - we didn't know we stood to wait to be seated - not necessary. Small enough dining room. Dante's takes cash/check or VENMO - no credit cards. Kind of unique but super smart on their part. We paid with cash and what I love about Dante's is observing the locals :). With every take out order that was placed, everyone was super casual and chill and they all know the routine. I loved this place. So long as they have beer/wine options I'm golden. That light crust was amazing. I'm almost sorry we only split a 10" pizza. I def could have done more!

We tried Dante's for the first time this week. I'd rate it a solid middle of the road option - we got Ezzo pep as our topping because it's one of my favorites. We also got a quart of salad, which came pre-dressed in their oily dressing but lacked flavor.Overall, it isn't terrible but it wouldn't ever be my first choice. It was just a bit greasy and soggy for me. As with most of my pizza reviews, I like to mention how it tastes day-old cold from the fridge. The outside crusty pieces were best, albeit a bit chewy. Overall, it was fine but not great. The best thing was the ezzo pepperoni. Also, they have the flimsiest boxes I've ever seen. Like a donut box. Better than the Bexley pizza joint that wraps it in paper, but barely.

Hidden gem! Amazing food. Great and friendly staff. Love the sausage for pizza. One of the best italian subs in Columbus. Their soups are incredible too.

A few things before the pizza & other food options...The updated dining room is fantastic. Nothing fancy, just a cozy clean local pizza joint. The staff was also A+. We were welcomed upon arriving and our server/owner was friendly and attentive. The food...The pizza.... Wish I lived closer. Maybe the owners could be persuaded into a 2nd location in Lewis Center??? I'd would have it on a minimum of once a week dinner rotation. I enjoy a well cooked crispy crust. Dante's nails this. Sauce and cheese were quality and happy to see they offered a Columbus staple Ezzo pepperoni. We are typically simple pepperoni pizza lover but based on reviews I've read we opted to add sausage. Never again will I get a Dante's pizza without it. Phenomenal. Has to be made in house or something. We had a side salad and the soup special as well and were completely satisfied. I almost ordered soup to go. Bonus they have beer, wine and a decent little bourbon selection too. Yes please. Anytime we are near by and sometimes not, Dantes will be getting a repeat customer. Worth the extra drive from home.
