Dakota's Roadhouse

We stopped here for lunch during our travels.The restaurant was packed during lunch time. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and not overly noisy.The restaurant is noted for its hand cut steaks, ribs and hamburgers. The menu also features a large variety of items from salads, soups, appetizers, bbq, sandwiches and sides.We ordered the half of bbq chicken with 2 sides. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, all very tasty and tender.. Food plated nicely, good portions, and reasonable priced. We would certainly stop here again on our travels.

From the outside in, Dakota's Roadhouse will transport you down South and make you feel warm and invited like a real country home should. I started my experience with Mrs. Susie's Margarita which was strong and not too sour, just like I like 'em! I shared their Almost Famous Onion Loaf with my husband, which was less loafy and more onion ringy but still so very delicious, especially when you add the southwest ranch sauce for a little razzle dazzle. The downfall, which was probably more of my fault than Dakotas for not ordering steak or ribs, was the Prime Rib French Dip. It was just mush on mush, the bread wasn't toasted for a contrast and it just wasn't very tasty. I would love to come back and try something else because overall the atmosphere, drinks and other food was pretty good.

The food is usually good but not always. I imagine there is a lack of care when over half the lettuce in my side salad is from the base of the lettuce head. It is by far the most pale salad I've ever had. When I worked in the food industry my rule of thumb was to only sell a quality item that I myself would want to eat, this salad falls short of both those standards and I fail to see a reason a competent staff would ever serve food this quality, even something minor like a side salad. I gave 3 stars for overall experience but I would give tonight a 2. Thanks for attending my TedTalk. I came back and changed my review from 3 to 2 stars after looking at the other salad in my order. My review is still based off overall experience here, not just from tonight. I was being generous with the 3 star review but was swayed otherwise.

First timer... food was great as well as the service... recommend to all to stop by and check it out.

We were in from out of town and it was a very busy Saturday night and we have a large family. They told us 45 minute wait but it wasn't nearly that long. I overheard the hostess mentioning that a server had called off. No one freaked out, they just moved someone people around and kept rolling.Food was delicious. Our server (Nicole) was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

It was fine...nothing great, nothing terrible. The girls at the hostess station were pretty lethargic when I entered. My server was good. The food was OK. I wish I had more to say, but it was fine...just fine.

Compared to a Texas Roadhouse would have rather been at a Texas Roadhouse. Tried to support a local restaurant driving through but 3 out of the 4 meals were not good. The fourth meal bbq ribs were flavored well. Paid way too much for this meal for a family of 4 to be disappointed.

Food has definitely improved over the last couple of years. Impressed with the staff, ambience is sports bar with a lot of TVs. Overall, very impressed.

Your average steak house. However, they do have a nice prime rib offering. They offer some chicken selections as well.

I ordered take out, $45, order a steak salad in my order, 2 croutons, harly any cheese and the smallest amt of actual salad I could imagine, you get ripped of when you order to go because you don't see your food until you get back to the hotel.....extremely disappointed
