Delicious and a good price! I got the Oreo disaster sundae and it is a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, Oreos, marshmallow fluff? , peanuts, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry. The brownie is a full size brownie, you could share this with another person.

NOTE: This location requires a $5 minimum for credit card purchases. If you're spending less than that, bring cash. I love a hole-in-the-wall local joint, so I decided to check out Dairy Isle when I had an ice cream craving yesterday. This was my first visit and I wanted to try out the drive-thru. There's only one window and the menu is only posted right where you order, so if you don't know exactly what you want and there are cars behind you, it can feel a little rushed. I ordered a hotdog and a Reese's twister. The worker was accommodating and asked what I wanted on my hot dog, and she let me sub chocolate ice cream in the twister. The service was very quick. I think I waited about 1 minute for the twister and another 30 seconds for the hot dog. First, the twister was tasty. The chocolate soft serve was creamy and had a nice chocolate flavor to it. (You know, sometimes soft serve is icy and cold with no real taste. That wasn't my experience here.) They also added a nice amount of Reese's peanut butter cup chunks to it. Plus, it was big--the picture doesn't do it justice. I think it was a 16oz cup, it was filled to the top, and it cost something like $3.80. None of the chain ice cream places have prices that low for a similar product. I was very satisfied with this product. The hotdog, on the other hand, was spooky. I took a few bites of it before decided to throw most of it away. I don't think it was as hot as it should have been and it was discolored, so I got a little nervous and stopped eating it. The taste was off for me, too. Maybe that's because the hotdog was boiled? I'm not sure--it came out wet. The point is, I wouldn't order this again. I'll come back here for ice cream, but I'll probably skip the food. They have an ice cream cake, which the worker described to me as a piece of cake with ice cream and sundae toppings. I'm interested in trying that next!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to Dairy Isle on East Main Street which is same same owner as 30th Street Dairy Isle, and I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO EITHER! First off I went there and ordered my food and my total was $7.50. I figured I would eat my food first then go back and order ice cream. WELL when I went to order my ice cream they would not let me use my card because it was less than $5.00, even though I JUST USED MY CARD not even 10 minutes before! So I did not get my ice cream. Maybe I should have ordered it with my food, but never thought they wouldn't allow it since I just paid with same card just a few minutes before. That is very wrong, and I am sure the price it costs to swipe a credit card is less then what they charge for a twister/flurry.THEN....when I ordered my food which was a footlong coney, mushrooms and large drink. I asked if it was free refills and the girl said YES. So I went to get my refill and the other girl, same one who wouldn't let me use my card, said it isn't free refills. Even when the other girl said there was free refills, she STILL wouldn't refill my drink. The girl was rude and very nasty, and should not be in a business that she has to interact with other people because clearly she doesn't know customer service or how to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! I Gave them another chance to redeem themselves after a car plowed into their building last year and nope.....NOT GOING BACK EVER! RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE

I love this Dairy Isle. We take our high school youth group to this location every Wednesday during the summer and early fall. We are a huge group and the employees are so patient and helpful with us. Seriously top notch customer service. I've only had one "stinker" item from Dairy Isle and I've tried most of the menu. Food-wise, the burgers are super yummy (salty, juicy, and a little greasy- which is everything I'm looking for in a burger), especially the cheese stick burger. Curly fries were my favorite, but tragically have been discontinued. Mac and cheese bites are a little pricey for what you get, but they're the best around. The ice creams, of course, are killer. I love all of them that I've ever had.

I went for ice cream with the kids. Because they have a $5 minimum for the use of a card, I ordered the Fried Pickles. After waiting for 30 minutes under bug infested lights being eaten alive, i was given 4 small burnt things that could not pass for food. The food is over priced and takes forever.
