Also liked the poster next to our table of a man glaring down at me with his arms crossed - felt just like when your parents won't let you leave the table until you finish everything on your plate. Went with a large group so I have no idea what we ordered but everything was delicious!

This place is fantastic! I would recommend the garlic naan and the NavaRatna Korma. The portions are substantial and the food is delicious. I got mine to go but there is seating inside where several people were having their meal. Overall, this is a great addition to the area!

Absolutely love this place! The flavors are so much more rich than most Indian restaurants in Columbus. Your can tell they work so hard to make every dish amazing. They're always so kind at the front when I pick up as well. Great customer service as well as amazing chefs!

Great food, big portions, reasonable prices! We did take out but would like to eat inside next time.

We dined at Daawat Indian Cuisine shortly after they opened their Hilliard location. We were seated right away, which is always nice, though that may be just because they're so new and haven't been discovered yet.Our server appeared to be the owner, who was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable We attempted to order Papari Chaat as an appetizer but he advised us that this wasn't a good choice, though he wasn't really clear as to why. He suggested we order the Samosa Chaat instead.We tried it and it was quite good, a large portion, very fresh and flavorful. We also had the butter nan bread which was Fab-U-Lous! Clearly made fresh and cooked in a tandoor oven, unlike some Indian restaurants that buy prepackaged nan and seem to just warm it in a microwave.We had the chicken Vindaloo and paneer Tikka Masala. Both were delicious and prepared at the requested spiceness level. One small negative comment would be that the paneer was a bit tough and didn't taste "homemade". The tikka masala sauce was great though. Oh, and the mango lassi was very good as well.The prices at Daawat are somewhat expensive, especially given so many items are vegan or vegetarian. This pricing seems to be a growing trend amongst India restaurants, unfortunately. Entrees that used to cost $8 - $10 are now $15 - $17, almost double what they were just 4 or 5 years ago. And appetizers have almost doubled at many places as well.We can now afford to eat Indian only on special occasions rather than several times a month as we used to. For us, that sadly will be the case for Daawat also. Yet Daawat is still a welcome addition to the Hilliard dining scene, as there hasn't been a really good Indian restaurant here since Spice House closed years ago.

Visited the other day and will be back! The service was great, the food was delicious, and the portions were big. It wasn't very busy for dine in, which was great for us, but there were also constant take out orders.

Some excellent Indian food! Friendly staff. Can be communication problems. We stop up here about once a month. I always get Chicken Tikka Masala spicy. Da wife gets the Paneer tikka masala. They are so delicious!!!! The naan is great for sopping up the gravy! We got adventurous and got the Aloo Tiki Chaat appetizer. It was *spicy* without asking for it! Stay away from their salad. Mainly sliced tomatoes, had to ask for lettuce.Go! Enjoy! No beer or other alcohol though.

Wonderful food! We ordered take out. It was hot and ready on time, exactly what we ordered, and very delicious. It's a great addition to this part of northwest Columbus.
