I ordered palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, and naan. Naan was more like a tortilla, very flat and not like any naan I've ever had. Disappointing. The chicken tikka masala and the palak paneer were just ok. The rice was cooked well. A solid 2 1/2 to 3 stars. There's definitely Indian food that's a lot better available in Columbus and there's definitely Indian food that's a lot worse!

I wanted to write a really long review to curry your favour for this place, but I'm in a hurry so I'm going to keep it short. If you want your curry in a hurry it's not always the best place to come because sometimes it doesn't come out in a hurry at all - but one thing that always does is it always tastes good and the prices are competitive too. It's great to have a relatively cheap Indian curry spot around here. and if you ask them for extra spicy, these hot, wet, juicy curries can actually be really good. It was somewhere between four and five stars, but the fact that I have been coming here for years, and they've always been consistent, and always good, and always friendly and great value, means I have to give it a five because they deserve it - especially considering how affordable they are.

My friends ordered here before and it was an amazing experience, but for some reason the odds were not in my favor tonight. I ordered online but it seems like the system was down. No biggie, but after manually writing my order - he seems to have messed up my order. They gave me single pieces of plain naan. Additionally literally found only one piece of tandoori. Severely disappointed. Maybe I'll try again another day over the phone. It was quick though. Only took 10 minutes though

Curry and Hurry is my favorite place near campus that gives solid, cheap Indian food. It isn't the most authentic, but I always have a solid, greasy, flavorful meal. Yes, I said greasy... they have some of the thickest biryani you can find. It's very congealed, but I really like it. I know that doesn't sound the most appetizing, but I still really recommend them for their flavor alone.

The food was fine, a little bland. We had the palak paneer, chicken tikka and chicken korma. The korma was the least tasty. It had little creaminess. It's fine curry but don't expect a taste sensation. You can taste how boxed it all was before it got warmed up. Disappointing.

I ask you to avoid Curry and Hurry. It's easily the worst Indian restaurant around this area of campus. The competition sucks but this still manages to be shittier. It's a total ripoff for bad food. The service is also slow even though it's so obvious it's not freshly made. I came here because maybe it might not be that bad. It has worse food than the horrible Indian Kitchen. The food is way overpriced. It would be okay if the food was edible. There is no reason to charge more than $12 for a simple curry, naan, and samosas. It has some biryanis and curries which all looked the same. The vegetable curry was flavorless and watery. It looks like it may not have even been cooked. The lunch specials are the better value. It's not that much of a value because it's still like shit. The samosas were not as bad. It appears they were cooked because they were burnt. The service was slow because they say it's made fresh, so why does it taste frozen and microwaved. It's shameful they charge this much for it. There's better quality in the frozen aisle than here. I would avoid ordering Curry and Hurry. It has dome of the worst food around the Ohio State campus. They take advantage of students because they have never eaten Indian food and think it's okay to pay for shit like this.

Curry should not be hurried. When you rush the process of making curry, you sacrifice a lot of things. The meat doesn't break down well, and its fats and fibers of the flesh don't integrate with the sauce. The sauce itself doesn't have time to simmer, resulting in flat, bland, underwhelming flavor. As the curry is the star of the show, a lackluster curry makes for a lackluster meal. I decided to verge away from one of my favorite local spots, Cinnamon Indian, and try something new. I was hesitant from the photos, as the curry looked more like a tomato sauce, but tried it anyways. Unfortunately, the pictures didn't lie. The overall flavor was marginally curry, but very mild. There wasn't much variety or depth to it. The rice wasn't properly cleaned, so partial husks were still on the cooked rice, which is rather unpalatable. The garlic naan was more akin to garlic tortilla; the structure of the bread lacked air bubbles and that chewy thickness characteristic to the fan favorite Indian bread. The chicken was tough, and in cubes with muscle fibers to dense I thought perhaps it was paneer on accident. There were no vegetables other than a slice of onion or two, but this is usually true to tikka masala. The amount of chicken in the dish was also lower than most servings I've had. Sometimes little hole-in-the-wall restaurants blow me away. This one however, did not.

The chicken tikka Masala had a bean after taste, and the chunks of onion were too large

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food!! I always get it delivered through a courier service, but it's always hot as if it's right off the stove. The only complaint that I have is that they charge almost $3 for a single piece of *paper thin* naan. But honestly, that's my only piece of criticism. Other than that, I only have praise for their quality!Really some of the best food I've ever had!
