Creno's Pizza Newark - Cedar St

I don't understand why this restaurant has bad reviews at all. Ive been living right beside it for a year now and I literally eat here almost every single day. The food is always fresh and made with care. You can tell they really try hard when you see the presentation of the food. And the taste is outstanding. On top of that the staff is to be adored. They are always so sweet and fantastic and remember me by name. I love this place and this is the best place to eat in Newark.

Worst pizza ever. Called after 1 hour. When the quoted a 45 minute wait. Pizza took an additional 45 minutes and was cold and slid in the box from the driver turning fast. Last time I ever eat crenos there is way better pies than this for the money and time.

I work/ help manage this place, and it just opened under a new owner i can promise that our crew will do whatever it takes to satisfy our customers! Please dont let the past owners scare you away.

Great Service and Food is awesome. Wish they would deliver to a wider area. Deo drive location sucks. , deo drive location slandered Cedar street location and honestly they were wrong. Cedar street is great.

This pizza is a bit different than any other. Not a regular, but not a thin crust either, just right in the middle. Crew is always polite. Shop is super clean when we pick-up. Family loves this pizza! This is just a great little neighborhood shop!

Something went wrong - very, very wrong - with this pizza chain's Cedar St., Newark, Ohio, location. New ownership/management at the beginning of 2018 might be the cause. The business, which earlier this year inexplicably ceased operations for a month or more without any notice, lost consistently professional, likeable, longtime employees, some of whom served us for years. Orders have been incorrect. We experienced rudeness; that's unacceptable in this industry! Even delivery times have mysteriously lengthened from 30/40 minutes to a now advertised 45/60 minute delivery window - which at least is accurate, if not defensible, as their location is the same, the product is the same, and we've lived at the same residence for 20 years.But for my family, all this is moot because, after over a decade of loyal patronage, they now refuse to deliver to our address because they calculate that we live 15 minutes away and will now only serve customers within a 10 minute drive. That's a self-inflicted loss to them of 2 pizzas ordered one weekend per month off-season and 2 pizzas ordered per weekend in-season on Saturdays for OSU football.We know Creno's isn't the best pizza available in the Newark/Heath area, but it was a tradition for us. Therefore, we could put up with some inconsistency in quality of service and product, hoping it would get better. But for anyone else who's considering this Creno's, I can't recommend this establishment anymore.

Terrible. I live 2.6 miles away and they WONT DELIVER. Doesn't make sense to even offer delivery if you won't drive 3 miles. I've called 3 times and nothing will make them deliver to this place. Reasoning behind not coming down by road, no money in tips. JOKE

Delivery takes way to long for a terrible pizza. I ask to have it cut like a pie and i get chopped up pizza strips have had to send several back for being undercooked, wrong order or cut wrong. They should start paying attention to customer request

This place is a joke i was told an hour and 15 minutes for delivery which was a little long but hey we were hungry and unable to pick our order up at the time my food finally arrived 40 minutes late of course i tried to call numerous times to inquiry about my order and the phone constantly kept ringing woth no answer the last time i called they picked the phone up and hung it up without speaking. When my order finally arrived the delievery driver had a very non appropriate work appearence. Our food appearance was extremely unappealing it was just slopped together i will never be ordering from this location again and suggest that no one else does the same

USED to be one of the best pizza places around. Last six months or so they abandoned quality and their product has suffered. Ingredients used to be edge to edge and now there's an inch of crust. Salads come thrown together without some ingredients, and their subs are the same way. It's a real shame as I love their food and it's too bad things have gone south. I hope they reverse this trend and get back to the quality that made them great. We ordered three or more times over the last few months, so this wasn't a one time incident. We kept giving them the benefit of the doubt as we love their food. Loyalty NOT rewarded.
