Every time Cousin's food truck comes to town (or anywhere near me) I have it for lunch and to go food to cook at home! Such good food. Good amount of food, and always great service. Highly recommend.

I visited this food truck because I have seen them around many places and people always rave about them. I, however, could not have had a worse experience. Firstly, the food is outrageously priced for what you get. I got a $22 lobster roll and it was just a small piece of bread folded in half with only lobster in it. The flavor and service were good, that was about the only good thing about the experience. The lobster was rubbery, and once I bit all the way, I got a bunch of broken shells and a whole joint cartilage. The roll was inedible from how much shell was in it. I cannot recommend to avoid this place more.

OMG...I've been wanting to visit this truck for several years now. Finally got to try it at the Dublin Irish Festival. Yes, I know it isn't Irish food. We had already gotten our normal festival fare. So we decided to splurge on some lobster. We got the Connecticut Roll. Service was fairly quick, within about five minutes of ordering we received our roll. It consisted of Maine lobster, served warm with butter and lemon, on a New England roll. It was a little pricey (this is why I deducted a star) at $20 for one lobster roll and when I received the sandwich it looked a little small to me. But it was totally worth it. The lobster was cooked perfectly, glistening and buttery. I normally don't eat buns or bread if I can help it, but the New England roll was delicious as well. The truck looked just like it does on TV, I think we first heard of them via The Food Network and Man vs Food. Man, I miss that show. Everyone working the truck was very nice, clean, and friendly. I just found out that there is actually a brick and mortar restaurant in Columbus Ohio. We will definitely be going out to eat sometime soon to the restaurant. WOW, they have multiple restaurants in multiple states, not to mention food trucks all over the country. Will have to remember this the next time we travel....YUMMY!

Direct from the shores of Maine straight to food truck Columbus, Cousins brings the succulent goods of North Atlantic malacostraca to our landlocked neighborhoods. As I have said many times on this site I am not a fan of seafood here having been sufficiently spoiled by numerous treks to subtropic America, but having been urge by my girlfriend try this food truck I find it to be as close as can be to fresh ocean lobster found here in the capital city of crappy weather. In short I love it!This is a family owned truck who, according to their website, ensures everyone working is knowledgable of the fare by sending them to Maine to meet lobstermen, ride in their boats, run baits and traps, and measure lobsters to understand the standards they have. And it works to provide a great meal. The menu is dominated by 'the red veal of the sea,' headlined by Maine and Connecticut rolls.(The difference being served warm or cold, and with mayo or butter and lemon.) They also make specialties: Grilled cheese, tots, tacos, quesadilla being among the memorable. Bisque? Of course! They also make shrimp tacos and Clam Chowder. It is like being in New England sans the Kennedy-esq accent. On my first try the truck was parked at The Derby, 505 Morrison Road in Gahanna and two things impressed me: One, the quickness the order popped up. I anticipated our's would take a few--which was ironically annoying as I wanted to down a brew at the tap-house--but it came up faster than McDonalds. Two, the Maine Lobster Roll was so good, so fishy fresh, that it was more than worth the $20.75 I paid. This shiet is good! The only negative is price--though this is obvious being Lobster, flown in from Maine, and the inflation that is rocking the dollar. Where can it be found? Well the schedule here in Late March 2024 includes some places in Cincinnati,Toledo, Springfield, and Fairfield. Local stops scheduled are Oakland Nursery Dublin, Polaris Mall, Geneva, and 655 Africa Road, Westerville. It is a must try Food Truck.

$22 Maine Lobster Roll from a truck? Sure, why not.Honestly, it was pretty good and exceeded my expectations for food truck lobster. But, for $22, it could stand to be a tad bigger or have more lobster. I also love that it wasn't chopped up and mixed with a ton of mayo- the big pieces are great and nobody went overboard with the mayonnaise here.To be honest, if you want really incredible seafood in Columbus for way less of the cost, check out Coastal Local Seafood in the North Market. But for the convenience of this being a quick food truck stop, the quality is there.

Ordered the Lobster Tacos with a double serving of lobster. They were a perfect match to my drinks at Mother Stewart's Brewery in Springfield.

I got the lobster grilled cheese and a cup of lobster bisque. I thought the lobster meat was very fresh tasting and good! The lobster grilled cheese was just decadent.... I could tell my sandwich was made to order, yet it didn't take too long. The only reason I docked a star was the amount of food you get for the price. $17 for the lobster grilled cheese was a little steep considering the quantity of food you get.

It's highly overpriced for the quality of the food. That said, it's lobster in Ohio. When it's bad, it's still kind of good.

Listen, if you can't get to Maine Cousins truck brings it locally. Fabulous Connecticut style lobster roll. It's the best. Maine style uses mayo but it's not needed. Fresh lobster meat is sweet on its own. Toasted roll and little drawn butter is all you need.
