Went there the first Sunday of December. They have a nice looking tree farm with lots of nice trees and close to town. All trees that can be cut are tagged. We walked all over the tree farm and found less than 20 tagged trees. All of the tagged trees were unacceptable do to missing branches or general shape. Total waste of time. While walking around, we were warned by the staff that you cannot take pictures, unless you are buying a tree. Really? How rude! We asked where we could find a nice tree to cut and told to look for the tags....no help. They have cheaper and better pre-cut trees up front. We got a tree, but will not be returning. Be prepared for the $2 up charge on your $50-$80 tree for the netting....urrgh!Oh well. Try a different place next year as we are not coming back here.

This is a great place to search out and cut down your dream Christmas tree. You are greeted by the staff who will explain the process to you and provide you with a sled and saw. Then off you go to find your tree. Trees are well marked with the type of tree as well as the price. Once you have your tree picked out, cut down, and given a sled ride back to the front the staff shakes out the tree to remove old leaves and such and will net it if you wish ($2.00) to make it ready to tie down on your vehicle and take home. If you would rather not cut your tree down they have a great selection of precut trees or, if you find a tree on the farm but don't want to cut it down yourself, the staff is happy to help. They also have a great covered area to sit down and warmup on those cold days. All, in all you will get treated like part of the family and have an enjoyable experience.

We have gone to Country Cabin for years and were so disappointed to be greeted with a "Reservations Only" sign. We drove from far away due to our great experience in the past. Very sad that families need a reservation like a restaurant to cut down a tree. I couldn't post a picture because we weren't welcomed to be there.
