We were looking for something mid and family friendly and we found it! This hands on museum is fun and educational for kids and adults of all ages. They made everything educational from the see through elevator to the dinosaur exhibit and yes you and your child can ride a unicycle on a wire on level M. This place is so much fine for everyone and will leave you wanting more. Yup yup Hooray for the COSI Science center. My only gripe is that some of the hands on items didn't work, some had signs letting you know and others did not. Positive is that the staff was friendly and the actives here are awesome!!

COSI has always been a great place to visit ever since I was a child. I have visited COSI a few times since moving back to Ohio in 2016 and it's always a good time. My last visit there was during the Barbie exhibit. Although I'm not a huge Barbie fan, I did enjoy it. The planetarium is always my favorite part and of course the history part too! Going to Cosi is a wonderful experience for kids, adults, and families.

I live in the Washington DC area, home of museums, and this is absolutely the best museum I've ever been to. I came solo as an adult and spent 3 hours looking through the exhibits(pretty quickly). If I had my boyfriend and his son we could have easily spent the entire day here. They also had a sensory bag for those with disabilities or who experience heightened senses which is absolutely amazing. The first then boards and visual schedules blew me away as an option as someone who works with students with disabilities and on the autism spectrum.I cannot wait to come back!!

We loved COSI! I went with two toddlers and were so impressed with how much there was available for little kids! We loved the area they had designated for Little's. We could've spent the whole day there! Every detail is so well thought out and made special for every child. I was also very impressed with how clean the whole building was. In each area we were in, was immaculately clean - the bathroom, the exhibits, the play areas, etc. Our littles also loved the Dino exhibit! It was really cool. Will definitely be back!

Clean inside and good price. Variety of exhibits to see that all ages can enjoy. However there are some things that were out of order. Seems that they don't maintain displays very well which is sad.

Very interactive museum. Price was not bad. Coming from the Chicago area, the admission for this place was fair. We probably spent 5 hrs here as two adults. There is a wide variety of activities/exhibits to see that covers about 2.5 floors. Second floor is small compared to the others. I only wished they had more restaurants to eat at outside the museum.

We visited COSI last weekend and it was a fun experience. I would say the establishment could be cleaner. I am a nursing mother and the nursing room was not very clean which was disappointing. We are used to going to museum in Cincinnati and the nursing room is pristine! Overall it was a fun experience for my 8 year old. My 14 year old was a little too old for this museum.

Cosi would be great for older children. I do not think a 2 year old should be the ticket age as their is minimal for a 2 year old to be able to do-the kids area is cute but small and crowded. with that being said we planned a day and had never been before and had planned to bring my older granddaughter back to enjoy it with out the little ones. The parking attendant at 4pm on Friday August 16, 2024 with his absolute disrespect and beyond horrible rude comments about a parking ticket at check- out will cause us not to return and share the experience with many. It is unfortunate Cosi that he represents your establishment. He should not be employed in any customer facing service industry. Very unfortunate as the staff at Cosi were amazing. He ruined our day and experience and I hope you do something about him, so it doesn't happen to someone else. We won't be back.

This as good as it gets for a kids'/science museum. Tons of stuff to do, all of it hands-on and cool demonstrations basically every hour. We took 4 kids here and stayed for almost 5 hours. We saw a whole exhibit on how cars work, played outside with whisper dishes, lifted a car with a giant lever, saw rats play basketball, saw an electricity demo with a giant van de graaff generator, hung out in gadget place with pulleys that you could pull your own seat up with, and a bunch of things I can't remember. The whole time the kids were happy and entertained. Really the only downside was all the adults were exhausted by the end.

This place is awesome and after visiting you will definitely know why it has been voted "Best Science Museum" in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, for three years in a row. There is limited street parking available and they have a commercial parking garage. Normally they do offer parking validation, but I visited on New Years Eve, so they offered a flat rate of $6, which is standard for holidays and special events. But I think the rate is $6 all the time and she just made me feel special. If you plan on visiting here, you need to plan ahead. All visitors are required to make a reservation online in advance to visit COSI. You can not make it there at the counter. There is a little plaza area out front of the museum that is very nice and has gliders, percussion instruments, a lot of flat green space. We came here for their Noon Years Eve, which was included with admission. The place has three floors that are packed with exhibits. There are stairs or a glass elevator that you can use to go between floors. The elevator is huge but slow, so sometimes we just took the stairs to save some time. The first floor has the gift shop (Science 2 Go), the snack bar (Atomic Cafe), phone charging stations, a huge dinosaur/prehistoric exhibit. There is also a hurricane wind machine (costs $3) to use and a stage area where they hold events like the Noon Years Eve celebration and periodically do an electrostatic demonstration with kids ( I highly recommend checking this out). The gift shop has a lot of overpriced items, as most gifts hops do, that you can purchase for a lot cheaper online. I recommend skipping it all together and spending more time in the exhibits. The dinosaur exhibit is well put together and I was amazed at what they put together. The second floor (Level M) features the planetarium (included with admission). My littles and I did not find the movie that entertaining though. There is also a bike cable ride, which usually has a long line, a space exhibit, a hot air ballon exhibit, a balance exhibit, a cracker jack toy exhibit. The third floor (Level 2) has a huge kids play area, Little Kidspace, with an interactive video game, a play hospital, a play farm, light bright, a water table area, and a play workshop. There is another exhibit area a cross the hall from this that is dedicated to illusions and gadgets. There is also a food decomposition exhibit, a heart rate exhibit, a weight exhibit and a very graphic fetus exhibit. There is a 4th floor here but it does not hose any exhibits. That is where museum offices are located. There is limited benches and seating areas on each floor, so you will probably be on your feet for a while. We spent a few hours here, but you can easily spend a half to full day exploring the place. They always have something going on so be on the look out for their special events and revolving exhibits. What sets this place even further apart from other similar places is its staff. They all were so very friendly, helpful, patient, and courteous. They also showed extreme pride in the museum, as they should. The exhibits were well organized, and interactive. The museum was also very clean. There were a lot of people there, but the place is so huge that we did not even notice. There were not a long wait for any of the exhibits if any, with the exception of the high wire unicycle ride. I highly recommend checking out this place. It is awesome. You will definitely not be disappointed. My littles learned a lot, and did not even know it because they were having so much fun. We had to drag them out of there.
