I never leave reviews ... but possibly the worst place I've lived along with this being my first apartment. They tried to get my to sign my lease without showing me the apartment, and then the day we moved in there were roaches everywhere ... we never fully moved in because pest control was out once a week and you have to move everything out into the middle of the floor . Maintenance was constantly out to fix something and our door looked like it had been kicked down 100 times, letters were sent out multiple times that if we didn't let them in the apartment for something they would break down the door at our expense or evict us .They were constantly charging fees for i don't know what and when I asked it was just rent or water but it was so much more than it was supposed to be. If I could give 0 stars I would

Stationed in Columbus Ohio from 2009 - 2012, I got an apartment with Cornerstone Crossing. And to this date, the 1 bedroom apartment I had has been a standard barrier that has been impossible to reach with some of the other apartments I have had since I moved away back in 2012. It just so happened to be my very first apartment too, as well as the cheapest that I have ever found; paying $475.00 a month, but I would imagine now that price may have went up.I believe I found its listing off of Craigslist, which truly did not let me down and the process took no more than a week! Resident manager at the time, Summer Seum took me on a tour of the area and apartment which was a steal considering its price, now that I think of it. Speaking about Cornerstone Crossing when I lived there, it offered a large piece of land consisting of an ample amount of parking, a laundry facility, swimming pool, tennis court as well as a path where you could run or walk at during anytime of the day with a beautiful inner property lake view. Living in Chicago Illinois as I share this; some of my past frequented places and places I can only reminisce about that were near were Screaming Willies, Heritage Square Antique Mall, Genji (Japanese hibachi restaurant), and Blacklick Woods Metra Park where I loved to run. And how can I forget that beautiful gold building off of Brice & Channingway that always assisted my visitors with finding me.Renting from Cornerstone Crossing, the only complaint I have was my monthly rent going up slightly when ever I would put in maintenance requests to fix things. Other than that, I have no further complaints. If I were to ever move back to Columbus Ohio which the interest is there, I would not hesitate looking them up again.~Blessings~Thomas G

If I could leave no stars I would. This is an awful apartment complex! Don't move here. The owners don't care about the state of the apartments. I had to file many complaints, send two letters, contact the inspector and set up an appointment for mediation to have my rent be put into escrow before this complex fixed a substantial leak in the bathroom. They allow three and four people to live in studio apartments so parking is really difficult to find. Most pet owners do not clean up after their pets and management does nothing to enforce it. If you see nice reviews about this place it is probably so people can get money taken off their rent. Each month if you wrote positive online reviews and bring proof into the office they will take a certain amount off your rent for that month.

My name is Latonia Sears. Cornerstone Crossing cheated me out of 350.00 within a weeks time. I am reporting this business to the BBB. It is so said at a time when a lot of Americans are struggling to keep food on the table. You have people like Cornerstone Crossing who lie to you in order to get you pay 250.00 to be on a wait-list for an apartment you never saw physically. All this within a weeks time. This is a racket and should be stopped. People are so greedy will do anything to anybody for it. Immorality at it's finest.

1 star only because there's no negative star. After applying($99) and paying the security deposit of $250 and $600. I was told by an agent (Vaniqua) that if After viewing the apartment I didn't like, my money will be refunded except the application fee. I visited the apartment on 02/15/2023, the Carpet was absolutely dirty and covered with paint. Door handles were broken. I just called them today (02/17/2023) to tell them I will not be taking the apartment and want my refund, someone (James Oldfield, [email protected] ) immediately sent an email asking me if I had any written proof that I was told the funds will be returned. $850 holding fee. They are the most dishonest, rude agents you will find around. You can't scam me of such a huge sum of money. Little wonder they told me that, they only do apartment tour once you have been approved due to Covid-19. Don't be a second victim.

I have been fighting with the management team since 2019. I was told I was getting an apartment and I gave notice to my previous landlord and could not move in when they said I would. two weeks after, they decided to give me a unit without hooked up and since I wanted to move out where I was, I took it. I was happy to have a place to stay. A year later, I started receiving notice regarding blinds for both windows and door, I did not break the blinds. in fact, I had a water leak from my windows and the maintenance guys while fixing the leak three times broke the blinds. they sent me a notice to fix the blinds and if I do not fix them, I will be charge $25 per blind and they cannot be cheap. The leak I waited a month for them to come to fix it. As right now, I have a neighbor who lives on top of my unit and he or she refuses to let us rest. I called the office and they said they will send a letter out, until now nothing. Two weeks after, I called again and they said I have to do a police report. Every year rent in this complex goes up. The price was good, but as right now it is getting high. I won't mind paying for good services, but if you are a person who cares about your peace, quality, rest time, good maintenance, clean unit...good management i suggest looking elsewhere to live.

They took my money, then deceived the Leasing Agent I spoke with! He was the only nice person in the entire place. His name is Travis. After they told him I had no verifiable income, they also told him they would send me my money back, but in a check! They debited my account, they know I am moving, but they SAY they'll send me a check, if I give them my new address! By the way, I receive Social Security, which is Federal, not State. This is why I say they lied, because my Social Security will transfer to wherever I move! In my personal opinion, if you want to live in an honest community, you may want to look elsewhere. I know I am.All they had to do was rescind the payment and send it back to my account, the same way I sent it to them. Since they wont, I am filing a claim of Fraud with my bank, and letting them deal with it.
