Cooper's Mill & Market

I have stopped at this place since I was a little girl. And this year is their 50th anniversary. They have a fantastic variety of jams, meats, cheeses, roasted nuts, homemade fudge, and all sorts of fun things. (Its also a great place for a potty break if you're on the road with a nice clean bathroom in the store.) There are typically free samples on Saturday which seem to make me buy something new every time. Only down side is that they close early and aren't open on Sundays.

Wonderful jams and jellies all made on sight with family recipes passed down through the years. The store is well arranged and they offer about 15 different samples at the sample station. I tasted all of them and it was hard to pick which one I wanted. Stop by and try to eat just one, bet you can't!

Cooper's Mill is basically a tiny market that includes a variety of jams and jellies, meats and cheeses, and many other things. While we were there we got three bags of the roasted nuts, delicious! As well as some apple and pumpkin butter at a great price for the quality. Try some while you are there, they have a little taste testing table!

They have fantastic sandwiches which are very creative in what they put on them. Sandwiches are huge but make sure you get the boxed lunch. Your choice of sandwich, two sides, bottle of water and a large piece of their homemade fudge. All of this was only $7.50. I had the ham and cheese sandwich which had a large piece of Virginia ham and two slices of their homemade cheese between a homemade bun. For fun they add a pineapple fruit spread they make. What a great hidden treasure.

Fresh hand deli sandwich box special ... this is the real thing. Homemade slaw and tater salad and even a chunk of fudge with a bottle of water . Nice people . Triple YUM

Honestly we stopped here cause my wife had to pee. What a surprise to find such delicious jellies. Bought the Peach and the Blackberry. They are both delicious. They also have sandwiches and a ton of other products to consume or home decorations, think "Mud Pie" style. Stop here get some goodies and FYI, the bathroom was spotless.
