Humble Mornings booth. They are from Cleveland! The tote the girl has is this year's ten buck tote.
People enjoying the festival.
They are from El Salvador and the coffee is just superb. Cafe La Piedra.
Turkish Coffee
Monster Baby Donuts and apparently they make cookies too. The donuts are amazing.
One Line Coffee's station. Another Columbus based roaster who has three local locations.
Small bags of the most unique specialty coffee. If chai could become a coffee, this is what it would taste like. Yum. Cafe Graciela
This is the Royal Flamingo coffee station. They are from Columbus.

This is an annual event that currently is located at the Ohio Historical Society's "Ohio Village" in Columbus, near the fair grounds. I thought this would be a cute little festival... inwas wrong. This it is huge! Over thirty coffee roasters and a bunch of food trucks and then dozens of vendors selling baked goods, pottery, and baked goods. This is a ticketed event. They have time slots for each day that you can get tickets for that range from 20 to 75 dollars. All the AM slots were sold out by the time we heard about the event so we purchased the two day pass with entry at 3pm-6pm. There was a huge line to get to the parking lot but once you got to the lot it was pretty easy to get in. Ohio Village is an town the historical society constructed to show what town looked like when Ohio was still considered a frontier state. Many of the coffee roasters were allowed to set up their temporary coffee shops inside these cute historical buildings. When you walk thru the entrance you are greeted and given a mug. Just after that stand is their merchandise stand where you can buy a hat, pin, tote bag, tshirt or sweat shirt. I recommend bringing a tote bag so You aren't forced into getting a ten dollar tote bag-- because, lets just face it, there will be something you will want to buy. When you go to the various roasters locations, you aren't getting a full cup of coffee. Its a fifth or sixth of the cup. So don't worry about being too caffeinated. Plus- If you only like coffee with cream, there are a few cream stations as many of the roasters don't have cream at their station (some do, some even have oat milk!!)Our favorite roasters this year were were Curly Dog Roasters, Cafe Graciela, Royal Flamingo Coffee, and Hemisphere. What is great about this events is you get exposed to some up and coming roasters who are still so small they don't have store fronts... yet. (Which is the case of 3 of the 4 roasters above). We also ended up buying a 10 dollar tote bag, a coffee festival tshirt, a one line tshirt and a curly dog coffee tshirt. Also ended up with two bags of honey infused tea (from a vendor from VA) and the BEST vegan donuts I have ever had. Actually, they were so good, we are buying more tomorrow. I loved this festival. Will go again next year, but will make sure I get my tickets the day they go on sale, so we can go at 9am vs 3pm. I imagine we wont fall asleep until 3pm tonight. IMO, 3pm is too late to drink a LOT of coffee. Lol. I highly recommend this event. Its well planned.

An overall great experience with live music, goat petting, axe-tgrowing, stand-out good vendors, and of course, coffee vendors. While the beans themselves could have been a bit better (the coffee seemed to get a bit watery by the end) the overall experience is definitely worth it.Go with your friends, bring a water bottle and good walking shoes, and don't forget to buy tickets early since they sold out completely this year!

Now an annual event, this was held in Ohio Village. Fairly pricey tickets, but I knew Sweetie would be interested. It was a hot day, and hot coffee does not seem like fun when you're sweating. But, the samples were small- and delicious- and there were a few cold ones. We tried half a dozen, but there were 20 or so places, most with several coffees to choose from, so you could try dozens. Service at each vendor was excellent. Lines moved quickly. Besides coffee there was ice cream, some baked goods, and a couple of more hearty options at food trucks. I had hoped to eat there, but there really weren't enough substantial food options that interested me. Still, we had a donut and a cookie, and pink ice cream for Baby K. You could get beans, watch them being roasted, do some yoga, throw an axe (thankfully Baby K was not too impressed with that.) There was music, and poetry. Books and clothes to buy. A pretty fun afternoon or morning spent in a cool place. With great coffee. There wasn't much for Baby K to do, but we expected that. I would leave the kids at home, in general, and come for the coffee and adult conversations. Still, it's the Village, so they can at least play a bit outside, and on the playground. We'll be back. Maybe tomorrow, definitely next year.

Coffee lovers dream. This is the 4th year, but my 1st visit. We purchased the early bird tickets (9-2) Saturday only. Normally the hours would be 11-2 and 2-5. Also this year the event was 2 days (sat/sun) rather than just 1 day as it has been in the past.A marvelous event full of coffee vendors handing out all the coffee you want. After showing your ticket to get in they give you a coffee mug to use at each station. That mug becomes a souvenir to take home with you.It was fun making our way around Ohio Village getting generous samples of coffee from each of the vendors. Everybody was friendly and informative about their business. We enjoyed getting to meet many of the owners and learned more about them as well as their business. There were lots of choices such as Nitro, Cold brew, hot, pour over, and French press. There were a few that stood out which was the Root beer coffee, bourbon barrel aged coffee with maple foam, cup-o-Nocino and lots of coffees from other countries.I have a few complaints which is the reason I'm giving 4 stars. 1. There were buckets to dump your coffee excess but there weren't enough of them. Some of the vendors had them hidden behind their tables. If they would put more buckets out it would keep people from dumping their unwanted coffee on the ground.2. Cream - there was only 3 stations that had cream which made it difficult to get cream in your cup each time. There needs to be more stations throughout the grounds to allow easy access to getting cream.Over all this was a fantastic event and I can't wait for next years coffee festival.

This was a great event with lots of coffee samples and other goodies. The sample that stands out to me was Coffee Emporium's bourbon cold brew with maple foam. Unfortunately they are located in Cincinnati! The Ohio Village was a neat venue for this event. Some of the vendors were inside the buildings and others were outside. There were a few food trucks there for food options. It was a good idea to break up the coffee flow with some food!My only complaint is that the cream stations were few and far between. Otherwise it was a fun event and we'll definitely be going again!

This was the festival of my dreams. Truly spectacular. And all for $15 ($18 with fees but same difference). Your admission gets you a mug that can be filled with a multitude of different coffees. And all the stations are set up throughout Ohio Village so there's a quaint little charm to it all. The coffees are from a variety of different shops from mostly Columbus but also from beyond. There were pour overs, nitro, iced coffees, drip, and more. It was great hearing from the baristas and business owners, learning about their passion for coffee and what makes their roastery or coffee shop unique. I loved how there were also so many extra activities. From petting kittens to poetry to axe throwing and more, there was no shortage of things to do. There were also food trucks and tasty desserts for purchase in between coffee samples. Other bonuses: free parking and water at every coffee station. This whole event was incredible and I'll for sure be back next year!

If you love trying different coffee, this is the festival to attend. At Ohio Village there are coffee stops tucked throughout the village. Tickets were $15, and as you begin your coffee tasting journey you will get a commemorative coffee mug. I love that many of the buildings were open for tastings, and I could see inside the shops. There were some different shop tents set-up, I loved that there was yoga outside, and lawn games. Those were my favorites. Even though I like coffee well enough, I prefer it sweetened. There were not enough sweeteners at the stations for my liking. This was a fun event to experience and spend an hour or two.

Love this festival every year. The early bird ticket was particularly worth the investment. It was the first year I didn't have to stand in line for a coffee sample! The food choices continue to improve, so make sure you bring some extra cash to eat or you'll be feeling a caffeine buzz quickly. Peace, Love and Little Donuts was back again and I loved eating these donuts before I started drinking coffee. It was unfortunately warmer than it has been in the past, but I appreciated the chairs in the shade for a quick break. The event site is beautiful and perfect for walking around.
