I started coming here to swim laps. The hours are a little wonky and I really wish they would expand their hours to include evenings. Facility itself is well kept. Locker room is spacious and there's a lot decent water pressure in the showers. Pool is not overly chlorinated which is really nice. I took lessons here too and the instructor was pretty great. Definitely nice to have this place to swim at when it's cold outside.

In the summer you can swim here for twenty five cents! Granted its indoors but who really cares at these prices. Also, not really the most up to date place when it comes to facilities like locker rooms and showers, but if you've lived in a dorm you have seen worse.I like the aquatics center because you can swim all year long. With programs put on by the rec center, or just a friendly float, this is a great place to be. Crowded during non-school hours get there early and have the place to yourself. I lived within walking distance for three years before I noticed the Aquatics Center. I'm sure others have done the same by the amount of alone time I score here.Whether you are Michael Phelps or learning to swim bring your quarters and enjoy a swim.

This place is definitely a little dated and the equipment that people are able to borrow (dumbbells, foam noodles) are definitely well worn, but I think the value is worth it. It's fairly clean and has lots of lockers to put your stuff in. I really wish the curtains fully closed on the changing rooms--this is a personal irritation of mine. Otherwise, I think the aerobics classes ($15) are fun and the swimming classes($40) allow personalized instructions, which is GREAT!! So far, all of the staff have been really great too. I only wish they offered more open swim($1) times for people that work 9-5 during the week. AND that you could use cards instead of cash in person.

Went here as part of the early bird lap program offered by the rec department. My only complaint really was that (on the mens side at least) you have to pass through the showers to get into the changing room. a little awkward when it's seven in the morning and you pass through an open room with 10 high school aged guys showering, while you yourself are dressed for work.... Maybe I just haven't found the "other way around" yet?For $25 for the lap club (3 months, 2 days per week), it's a definite value, and swimming is a great exercise, so I'll put up with the bad for the good.

This review contains info about the pool and a complaint about an employee at Tuttle pool in OSU areaThe indoor pool on hunter is not open in the summer anymore like one review said..It closes sometime in may and in June several outdoor parks and rec open. You will need a park and rec card you get inside the rec center currently a dollar and 50 cents. They offer a season pass and if you are a senior and get it by a certain early date, it is only $6 during later months and for those not seniors the cost is more. The membership pass gets you in free to the pools both the outdoor and the indoor with you rec card. Note it will not get you into the pool for any classes/water aerobics. these cost whatever the class states. The pool was a great bargain when it was 50 cents a class but now it was just raised to a set fee per 10 classes for aerobic although the senior water aerobics in the mourning is a dollar per class or a set prepayed amounts at 2 classes a week in the am for the 20 class session series. There is also a am class 3 days a week that one pays a set fee for/..can't recall if it is $1 a week if you prefer to dp it that way. Both am classes the regular and the senior end with a nice potluck. the night water aerobics do not have a potluck ending.they have swimming for the disabled and access to the pol even for wheelchair with a lift and they have steps. This is not structured or taught but rather do what you want. it was after one of the am swimming classes around 11 am one day a week. they also have one am a deep water aerobics. it can be crowded at the night water aerobics classes with about 50 people sometimes.this is a lot of fun and good way to exercise cheaply. I have went to many water aerobics classes and when they changed the price to a bit more now just get a season pass good year round and remember the exercises we did and ,make my own routine which is much cheaper..during open swim times. They also have swimming lessons, water basketball and water dumbbells and equipment at the indoor pool. They are open limited hours the only night being Friday.complaintI was very upset when one of the pools that had water barbells you could use got rid of them due to some new guard feeling they were unnecessary and stupid. Hos exercises were not as fum as the ones in the classes that use them and despite my begging him to let me use them or bring some with me due to a cancer death sentence and trying to save my life by a natural lifestyle change which included exercising he demonstrated no caring whatsoever and consequently we decided not to swim their in summer when he is there so now waiting for indoor pool where they are much nice to use these and begin our our exercise routine.'the man make me cry and he stated he did not want to use the barbells at the indoor class he taught but I think he said he had to cause the women were used to this useless type exercise discounting entirely the women/men going there many are overweight and stated they think the (old) classes are fun and most might not so it if they followed his non-fun routine where it was just all hard work and little to no fun. (he was Asian and looked college age maybe...real stubborn and no empathy at all). we almost quit going to the pool despite going many many years over this employee. we decided due a lot to him to not attend water aerobics anymore plus the price gets too high with new prices and also decided not to support park levies as he was unconcerned and rigid. As I said he made me cry and beg him to let us use them as they always let one bring in before but he did not care that I had cancer and might die if I did not go there and I think he thought I was lying..I would avoid tuttle at all costs. Note most private and community pools have no problem with adults bringing water barbells and also have these available. If one explained their circumstances to them, they would have no problems letting someone use water barbells to try to improve health and beat cancer. But no not this insensitive guy..played real hardball with an old dying lady, Many if not most of the people attending water aerobics are older (many over 50) and this man maybe was college age and he did not know how to talk to seniors and adults. we were so upset we never returned (probably never will) as he acted right he was going to call all the parks & tell them to not let people with their own barbells in --his flimsy excuse might take up someone's personal space...though they only extend ones reach a few inches -can be used carefully and discretely & are far less injurious that the kids they allow to slash you hard and many times almost knock you over in the pool or hit you with the balls as they extend out taking most of the pool at times except the water too deep to do water exercises. His main reason is he did not think there were necessary and using water pressure was better and he felt water barbells were useless(but fun/motivating
