We had an excellent dinner our first night in town--great service, clean facility, a real local gem. I had the shrimp dinner which came w both a salad and potatoes. The shrimp was fried perfectly, juicy and great breading; the cocktail sauce was fantastic. Loved the meal so much that I had it to nights in a row. Loved the shrimp so much I had it the next time too, but switched the fries to a baked potato. YUM!

A blast from the past! Skip chain Italian restaurants and go with a classic. I had the medium antipasto salad. Loved the house dressing. Schweety had the meatballs over rigatoni and was pleased. Also, love the grilled garlic bread. Crispy on one side and soft on the other. Unique wine choices, too.

Since 1954, Colombo's Restaurant has served pizza, pasta, and other authentic Italian dishes to everyone. The food is always delightful and leaving you full. We always get 4 orders of their garlic bread to go. We are crazy about the spagetti and Lasagna. The people here make you fell like family and your welcome to stzy and eat as long as you like. Grezt spot for family get together and parties.

Classic place with classic dishes. Great service & food. Definitely recommend. I could look at the pictures on the walls for hours here.

Tony and I had to go to the Doctors office in Parkersburg so we decided to try a new to us restaurant in the area. I immediately jumped on Yelp for some suggestions and we were directed by review status to try out Jimmy's, so we did and we were pleasantly surprised.Immediately we were greeted and seated. On our way to the table, there were loads of photographs along the way. This is a time when I wish that I had to wait!! Ever since childhood, I've been fascinated with photos from the past and everything with a history. Found out that this Family Owned and Operated Dining Establishment has been in Parkersburg since 1954. 68 yrs so they must be doing something right or I should say Everything Right!!!Our waitress was very pleasant, took our drink orders, Budweiser for Tony and Unsweetened Iced Tea with Lemon for me!! She told us about the daily specials and made some suggestions. She brought us a basket of Toasted Garlic Bread, oh so delicious!!! Tony went with a Toasted Garlic Bread Meatball sandwich slathered with rich marinara sauce and meatballs with melted Ooey Gooey Cheese and tons of crispy french fries! I opted for the Tour of Italy Entree which included Fettuccine Alfred, Penne with Marinara Sauce with a huge Meatball and a thick slice of layered Lasagna with a meaty sauce!!! Oh the food was so delicious!!! I would have preferred some fresh basil & oil dipping sauce and some fresh ricotta options but it was still superb!! Highly recommend and definitely a do over eat again immediately if in the area. I want to try their homemade pizza next time!!!

I have never had such a bad experience at this establishment. My pork chops were tough. They have never been tough before. Always tender and juicy but not this time. And my date's salad dressing was spoiled. Smelled bad and tasted bad. They replaced it with something else but I should not have a bad experience at this restaurant. This is a Parkersburg tradition and I hate so see it go downhill.

Food is amazing especially pizza. Service is always amazing, the place is awesome, I love looking at the old photos! Ambience is great.

Excellent! Cheese salad with house dressing was perfection! Abundance of delicious garlic toast, hubbies sampler platter was delicious and 8" pizza special was great! SO enjoyed our waitress Lily, what an asset to this charming restaurant! Personal attention to details throughout our visit was greatly appreciated. Don't miss this great find if you're in the area!

Ordered eggplant parm. The eggplant was oil and mush. It was awful. I could not eat it nor could anyone else. It had the texture of cat food. Owner refused to take back or remove from my check. Poor waiter apologized 10 times. Never again.
