The lobster fries are the best hands down. A co-worker introduce me to this place and I have been hooked ever since.

I was really surprised to find such a selection of oysters, in Ohio. I found my way to the North Market, which was not far from my hotel, and really just came in to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by all the options at the market, but being an oyster lover, I was drawn to Colo. In the corner of the market they have a wonderful counter set up next to their raw bar. They serve all kinds of fresh seafood but I only had eyes for the oysters. They had five different varieties and the man who helped me was very knowledgeable about all of them. I took his recommendation and was served six huge oysters on a pile of ice, with the usual accompaniments. I will say though, their horseradish was fresh, and not a sauce. They were fantastic. Fresh and clean, a bit briny, just perfect.

Grabbed a Maine Lobster roll. $26. The Connecticut is the most popular because the lobster is in the butter. The toasted bun is slightly crunchy, yet soft and billowy, it's good. The lobster meat is pretty yummy. The fries are blah. The pickle is sweet and decrepit looking.

I love this place but wasn't super duper impressed with their lobster mac or lobster bisque. The lobster mac had an ok portion of lobster served on top but was not cheesy whatsoever. The noodles themselves felt sort of plain. The lobster bisque had decent flavor but no actual lobster in it. It seemed more like a sauce than a true lobster bisque. That said, I went ahead and poured it on the noodles After I did that, it was a pretty tasty lobster pasta dish. If youre really craving a true mac and cheese I wouldn't order the lobster mac from here though.

What a gem! Came from out of town with a group of friends and thought North Market would be the perfect place for everyone to get something they wanted without having to decide on a specific cuisine. Colo Market clearly had the best food out of 6 restaurants we tried in the building! Two of my friends wanted to come back just to get the lobster fries for themselves! Imagine how proud I was that Colo was my pick lolLOBSTER FRIES: This exceeded my expectations in every way! The fries and sauce were tasty, the lobster was clearly fresh, and they were very generous with the large pieces of lobster given! I couldn't believe it only cost $15! I couldn't even finish it, I had to take it home. Hands down the best dish among all of the dishes my friends got!CAJUN SHRIMP PO' BOY: My bf got this and oh my does this shrimp po' boy put all others to shame! It says jumbo shrimp in the description, but I didn't think it'd be *that* big! And SO fresh and flavorful! Wow! It was hard to only take one bite! And I don't even like cornmeal breading! The food gods shined down on us for leading us to Colo Market. I don't know what I did to deserve it, but I felt blessed lol if I'm ever back in Columbus, Colo Market will be my first stop!

I didn't think the Connecticut lobster roll would be as tasty as it is. I thought it would be one of those places that serves you a small amount of lobster and charge you a high price. Nope! Colo gives you an abundance of fresh, lobster meat. The ratio of lobster to bread was pretty even. Lobster was not dry but moist and buttery. The clam chowder was good but some of the clams weren't cleaned all the way, there was still sand in them. It gave the soup a more grainy taste. Unfortunately, I'll have to knock off a star due to the soup. Service was great though.

Hands down some of the freshest seafood you will get in Columbus!I am nothing if not a lover of amazing seafood. You can imagine living in Ohio makes life hard for me :(But Colo Marketing & Oyster Bar is the best seafood you will get here. The oysters were delicious, and the Lobster Mac & Cheese was no joke. I tried both of the Lobster rolls as well- genuinely this is lobster heaven. The guys here are super friendly and the service was quick. Absolutely an overlooked gem in Columbus.

I had high hopes for the Connecticut lobster roll, but it was a letdown. I expected a small portion of lobster with an overpriced tag, and while they did serve a decent amount, the overall experience just wasn't worth it. The lobster-to-bread ratio was just okay--not impressive. The lobster itself was overly buttery, almost to the point of being greasy. The biggest disappointment was the clam chowder. Some of the clams weren't cleaned properly, leaving gritty sand in the soup, which ruined the texture and flavor. It was unpleasant to eat. While the service was decent, it didn't make up for the disappointing food. Definitely not worth the hype.
