Cocinamos Bakery + Bistro

Beautiful store, great pastries. Was going to try and get some breakfast, but they don't open the restaurant bistro part until 8 AM. I opted for the spinach ricotta pastry, which was unbelievably wonderful! You'll want one just by looking at the picture! Friendly service from one of the owners then headed off to work his other job for the Special Olympics. It was a very positive experience!PS. Don't sleep on the coffee, I got the dark roast and it was super smooth!

Great location and nice decor. But the non bakery food offering is very rigid. Too rigid. Like "the customer is always wrong" rigid. They offer a variety of burgers. I asked for one prepared plain. Server said "we don't do that. The owners don't believe in that."I smiled and said "so it's served the way the owner likes it, not the way the customer likes it?"She said "yes."That was a serious issue. So I chose a peach French toast option, even though it was lunchtime. It was unappetizing and something was off about it. I felt queasy the rest of the day. This place has potential but needs work.

Passing by in our car and I wandered in because the sign looked inviting and Yelpers were positive. I gather a rather new downtown business.Not crowded at all at 11am. It's a big space. The pastry cabinet is awesome looking and all made in-house. I had the cheese and scallion which was 5*. I may have missed the coffee menu so I ended up with a cold tres Leche. It was very tasty but a Bad choice on my part, too sweet. Excellent service all around. Clean bathrooms thanks for that. I predict a good future for them and I'll talk it up to my friends.

This bakery is beautiful inside. The decorations are inviting you to take a seat and enjoy time with friends. It is larger than I was expecting too. The display cases are filled with fantastic looking pastries. Both sweet and savory. I tried a sweet cheese fruit pastry and a beef pastry. They were both amazing! Full of flavor and surprisingly filling snacks. They have a variety of drinks as well. You pick the drinks up at a separate small bar area. This is a great bakery in downtown Delaware. Definitely a must try!

Amazing bakery treats, drinks, ambiance, and service! Couldn't say better things about this place! Delaware is lucky to have such a gem!!! I will definitely be back :)

Had breakfast here on a Sunday in January of 25, and we'll look for reasons to come back. Great place great food great atmosphere very nice people. Congratulations to the guys that opened this place. Highly recommend.

Cocinamos is a wonderful addition to downtown Delaware! My brother and I stopped in on a Saturday morning and split three various pastries. One was better than the next. We had a refreshing drink and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast pastries so much we went back in on Sunday to try the pastries we missed from the day before! Both owners were onsite and they are both very personable!

What a gorgeous space and friendly folks! Defiant coming back for a breakfast or lunch!

Awesome place, delicious fruit tarts. Very cozy atmosphere and the pastries are amazing.

We drove to Cocinamos in downtown Delaware on a Friday for lunch. The display case of all their sweets and pastries looked amazing and we were seated immediately. There were three tables of people eating in the restaurant. We waited at our table for over 20 minutes. No one ever came to take our order. We finally got up to leave and walked over to the person who seated us. We told her we were going because we had never been waited on. She said I'm sorry, I've been busy making coffee. This was at 1 p.m. and the place was empty. Extremely disappointed. We will not go back.
