CM Chicken

Phenomenal. I've had a lot of korean chicken in Columbus but this place is the best in my opinion. The cheese monster is my favorite. The rose ttekbokki has a great flavor and the rice cakes are always perfectly done. I've gotten the chicken delivered and I've been to the restaurant and it's always good.

Ordered this off DoorDash food delivery. Food was still warm and decently in contact by the time we got it. The sauce container did spill a bit but didn't ruin our order. We were happy they put the sauce on the side! We got the spicy snow chicken 1/2 order and side of curly fries. This was plenty of food for 2 ppl. The chicken was crispy and spicy and for takeout fries they were still pretty good. I'm sure even better if you eat in! The onions were perfectly sliced and the the white sauce was like nothing I had ever tasted before! It was delicious. Overall I really liked it but it's definitely a decadent meal so not something I will be ordering all the time. Definitely worth the try if you are on that side of town and looking for some fried chicken with a flare!

I love fried chicken and this place definitely was worth the trip. Our tenders were very crispy and super flavorful yet juicy inside. For the price, they gave decent portion sizes as well. The amount of tenders I got lasted me two meals and after putting tenders in the air frier they still tasted great. The service was a little slow, but the staff were nice. The ambiance is your basic food joint decorated with photos of the chicken and some signs about their story. Inside were a decent amount of tables, but I feel like this restaurant is better suited for smaller versus larger parties. I'd definitely go here again, my only minor complaint is that the chicken was overly salty but this sometimes is expected with restaurant food.

CM has a wide variety in their sauce game and that's why you come. The chicken and breading are solid but not extraordinary.The sauces are there for you.CM has obviously listened to its customer base and has provided the sauces most palates crave.Personally, I prefer their chicken as takeout as it is better on the couch.

First try of CK Chicken. Restaurant was pretty full for a Sunday night. Got a takeout order of original chicken wings, fried calamari, fried tofu, and spring rolls.I got the wings dry to get a feel of its taste without a lot of sloppy sauce. Next time I might try the spicy garlic and maybe garlic soy. The wings were good, tasty and not over fried. Crust was good tasting.Fried calamari were ok rings and the spring rolls were ok. Both tasted like out of a frozen bag.The fried tofu was disappointing. Not seasoned and tasted bland. Probably won't order again.Chicken was my favorite.

Wonderful variety of options. Love the traditional fried chicken. Make sure you try a Korean corn dog!

YUM!!!!! Found this location randomly after work and I am so glad I did! I typically get the sandwich but I tried the tenders and wow! Food is fresh and so delicious! Family owned and ran! The sauce that comes with the sandwich is to die for! Portions are large you could easily share! Orders only come with chicken/meat fries are additional. This is truly a hidden gem!! I'd recommend to anyone! Definitely worth a try you won't be disappointed!

Honest review**rush hours can get busy, pretty small place (can accommodate bigger parties), but about 7-8 tables that sit 4 people, more like a Korean pubFree parking in a shared parking plaza, kid friendly, clean and modern look, provides plastic gloves for eating chickenFYI despite the brand name, every Korean chicken store have sight different tastes/menu.We got the Garlic Soy Tikkudak and Original Fried Chicken. I have to say that I have had CM chicken before in Socal multiple times and I honestly was a bit disappointed with this Columbus branch. Don't get me wrong it was alright. I mean if I was craving Korean fried chicken in Columbus then I guess, but the tikkudak was soggy and not crispy when they advertised "extra crispy and crunch." Plus the Garlic soy sauce was like a soy barbecue, ketchup taste which was disappointing cause I didn't taste the garlic at all. I guess it could be the charcoal grill, but still not the classic garlic soy that I remember it being. The classic Original fried chicken was tender and crispy (not bad), but too bready. The breading for the crispiness was overly thick which reminded me of corn flakes. Interesting cause the garlic soy had a thin layer of breading which made it soggy. Not consistent? I don't know. They forgot my pickled radish at first, but thankfully the server brought it before I asked. I like how their pickled radish (slightly on the sweeter end) cleans the oil from the chicken. Garlic Soy Tikkudak: 5.5/10Original Fried Chicken: 7/10Pickled radish: 9/10Not bad, but I don't think I will be craving CM chicken for a while since my expectations were not met from previous experiences. I will try it again later down the road.

I had been wanting to try this Korean fried chicken for a long time. So glad I finally made it with my husband. The service was great and not too busy on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch at 3pm. I asked our server for recommendations and he went through and asked our spice level preference and then suggested the sauces. His recommendations were perfect, we enjoyed our chicken a lot.We ordered only chicken. We ordered the spicy garlic in wings and the curry snow in drums. The spicy garlic is spicy, yet has a perfect sweetness to balance it out. The curry chicken had a great flavor. The curry was my favorite. We never had fried chicken with the savory, saucy onions, so decided to get that on the curry drums. I think if ordering the snow onions, I would suggest getting it with the drums, so you have enough meat to enjoy the onions with. Next time, I would leave the onions out. The chicken itself I found to be tender and cooked well. The batter is not too thick, yet very crunchy, which I found to be perfect. Looking forward to going again for their chicken. The only con was the seating. The bench-like seats that are attached to the wall are unformatable and at a weird height compared to the table.

Wow! I am still dreaming of my meal at CM Chicken. I was in town visiting from New Jersey and this place did not disappoint! The chicken was full of flavor and crispy - specifically, the snow onion chicken was my favorite. 10/10 will return, everything was absolutely delicious!!!
