Sometimes I don't think about recommending some thing that's been around so long. My 50 year old niece used to love to go to this place when she was a kid.I've been taken nephews and cousins and my own children here forever.Their chocolate ice cream is my chocolate Favorite, the kids love the chocolate cones!And I must say the service there is good because it seems to be like we spent about 1000 years in there to spend five dollars per kid lol and nobody else got impatient except me.There's not a lot of room in there but it's just a fun experience for kids and grandmas too

Community staple. Clown Cone is part of so many people on the north side. Not only can you get a tone of different ice creams even in homemade waffle cones. But almost every type of candy & little Knick knacks. If you have never been stop what you are doing & go now!

I'm 51 and I've been going to Clown Cone since I was a little girl! Mark has done his mother proud in taking over and running the place! He is a neighborhood Icon imo and he deserves way more respect. He has always been kind to all of the customers and he keeps the favorites on the menu. Incredible Ice Cream at an incredibly low price. It is now my go to Ice Cream place in Columbus. The locale is not great, but I've always felt comfortable and welcome there. Really great place for kids. To me it's worth the drive from anywhere in Columbus.

I grew up in Linden and Clown Cone was a bright spot in my adolescence. They always carried the best selection of candy and treated the children customers with the same patience and respect as any adult customer. This place is my church.

Best candy store in Ohio. Maybe the best in the us. Locally own by the same man for a while now.

Haven't had the food, YET! But plan to soon. The service is great too! The overall look of the place scares me bc I'm terrified of clone but I face my fears for the amazing ice cream!

Have been going here since I was little. My grandfather, Richard would stop by almost weekly! Remains a huge part of my childhood. Prices are great! I love this place I've been coming here since I was a little kid. I much rather support local vs baskin robins or UDF. Quality, price, & variety are way way better.
