Just a quick trip as I had an hour to hang out. Interesting place with an outdoor covered patio upon arrival. I was greeted promptly by the bartender and ordered my drink. Nice pour. A little stronger than expected. Decor is interesting. Lots of high tops and some booths on the side under an odd overhang. Made me feel as though this place was something else before, which it was. This place obviously has some regulars and one of them told me it was called, I think. the Iron Pig a decent amount of years ago. Thus explains the booth situation as it was a restaurant compared to a bar. Speaking of the bar, it was actually a very large horseshoe. The other thing to note is that I am sure this pulls in people for NFL games as there are TVs everywhere! No shortage there. That's all for this one.

Stopped in with a group for Sunday lunch, hours before NFL playoffs. We were immediately seated and ordered drinks. There were definitely some regulars at the bar and in some booths which was a good sign. Our server was on it. And the outdoor tables looked great for better weather. We ordered a variety of dishes, I ordered the Buff Mac which was a blend of cheeses topped with buffalo chubby chunks. I was full! Othered enjoyed their chubby chunks, quite the sauce/rub/heat list. The menu was typical sports bar type foods, with some wraps and salads also available. I'd stop by again.

Service related: came in at 8:50 on a Saturday to get a Philly after a round of golf with my gf. Service was lacking for patrons not at the bar aka regulars. Was not approached for some time after sitting at a booth. Eventually Had to order food from the bar. The bartenders were more interested in doing shots and looking at themselves in the hung up iPad camera than serving people there seated in the booths. After waiting a total of 35 minutes, for one Philly, decided we were not the priority and forgotten about and left. Was a fan. Not anymore.

Their "Chubby Chunks" aka boneless wings are really good with not too much breading. The cheese curds were also delicious. Great place to watch a game as well with a nice sized patio.

Chubby's is another neighborhood bar. It's in a strip mall on Hard Road. The joke there is too obvious. Maybe they got the name of the place from the road. One good thing is that the staff is pleasant and not stiff. From the outside it doesn't look good. It looks like it used to be a Damon's. Thankfully it's not any longer. Cheap drinks. It also has some pretty cheap food. There's always some kind of special. On Wednesdays it's whiskey for $4. There's craft pints for $6. It also has good food for a sports bar. There's the usual stuff like burgers and wings. It also has an Impossible Burger. This is only $8, which is much cheaper than at hipster bars where you get just the same as this. It has pretty good food for a bar. It's more than fried shit. There's also lots of big TVs.

Came in for a night of football and friends, my first time eating here and it was absolutely delicious!! We had two wonderful waitresses helping us out, both were very kind and generous with their time, especially helping me to choose something on the healthier side, yet still delicious and towards the bar side of things. Plus, I tried a couple of the seasonal draught beers!Ended up getting the buffalo chicken sandwich, grilled instead of fried, and it was absolutely delicious!! The perfect amount of hot. I went with the side of sweet potato fries, too! And they were tasty, and in waffle fries! So yummy! Went with the Buckeye Lake Octoberfest to drink, tried the Pumpkin Ale also, which was delicious but super pumpkin-y. A little bit loud inside, but a great environment for a football game for sure! Had a wonderful experience and will be back.

I like to go to chubbys more in the summer due to the outside patio. However the music inside is soooo loud, you can't even talk to the person next to you. My ears ring for days. I only lasted an hour! Please turn the music down !

Service and food were very good for a sports bar. The music was too loud, even on the patio.

I'm a proud member of the Chubby's family of patrons! The food, service, music and atmosphere is always on point! The enjoyment of the masses is prioritized over the few when it comes to whether to play music vs playing the audio of a "sporting event" like Formula 1 racing on a Saturday morning brunch; especially when brunch regulars, like myself, want to play music on the jukebox instead of hearing "zooom zooom, vrooom vroom" of cars driving in a circle or commentators telling me how fast the cars are going in said circle. Imagine the audacity and entitlement of a few patrons who want to control the auditory brunch experience of the whole bar in making them listen to "zoooommm" instead of epic songs like Thunderkiss 65 and James Brown's The Boss! Mind boggling! Furthermore...the audacity and "karentivity" to then hop on yelp and post a scathing review about how they were bamboozled, hoodwinked and run amuck by the manager! But wait there's more...then to compare an F1 race to a Buckeyes game when it comes to playing the audio in the bar in said review....inconceivable! Thanks Chubby's for always creating a wonderful atmosphere and top notch sports and music bar experience; and, prioritizing the experience of the masses and not the few.
