China House is the best what I call "Value Chinese" I have found. The dining room is nothing more than a few tables and there is nothing to say about atmosphere. However, when you order carry out, it will be ready in fifteen minutes and you will be in and out in a heartbeat with a great Chinese meal.My favorites are the Cashew Chicken and General Tsos chicken with fried rice. However, the best thing on their menu in my opinion is their egg rolls. They have a great flavor which is hard to find.Yes, there are some better Chinese restaurants in Columbus, but not for the money.

We wanted to try a new to us place for chinese food. we weren't disappointed. The crab rangoon was the best my friends ever had. Large portions, great flavor. The hot and sour soup had just enough spice for interest. I had an eggroll which was the best I've had since leaving NYC. It was crispy without being dry and the filling was well seasoned. We had 3 dishes, happy family, mandarin chicken and a roast pork dish. They were huge portions but ;had similar tastes (our fault) next time we will pick a better mix of dishes. We left stuffed and with plenty of leftovers. The restaurant is bright and clean. There are a variety of tables small to large-some round with lazy susans . White tablecloths, vases and silverwear are on every table. Our service was excellent. There is lots of parking in front. they have highchairs for kids. The ladies room was clean and large

China House is aptly named for its traditional Chinese dishes! They offer a wide range of items including items you can only find at dim sum like the marinated pork buns and custard buns. The sizzling tofu dish was super flavorful and the tofu was so soft inside. The sauce went with the assortment of veggies well and I loved how the sauce soaked into the giant sliced mushrooms. The beef chow fun was also a great option. The noodles were chewy and the stir fried veggies and beef had a slightly smoky flavor. The stir fried vegetables were also one of my favorites. Even with just a few ingredients, it is amazing how flavorful this dish was. The dishes also came with rice and I ordered a side of chili oil for extra flavor Also, if you're a fan of steamed custard buns like me, do try them! They were warm and delicious, with a buttery and sweet filling. Sooo good and the perfect way to end the meal. Service is on the slower side since there are only 1-2 servers but it was well worth it. There were lots of seating indoors and the interior had a well worn, homey look to it.

Columbus is NOT a place you'd expect to find authentic Cantonese cuisine, but this place comes pretty close. A small unpretentious, simply decorated, restaurant at the end of a no-name strip mall. But you come here for the authentic food.Over 2 visits, we ordered over 10 dishes.....some hits and some not quite there. The salt & pepper fish and squid were tasty and crispy w/o too much heat. All the fried noodle dishes were pretty close to authentic (close to what you'd find in big city Chinatowns).Service was very nice (probably extra nice if you spoke Cantonese or were a regular). If in Columbus, and I was craving good Chinese carryout at reasonable prices, this would be my go-to spot.

We had such a great time dining there during our short visit. We ordered lots of dishes and they were all very delicious. I would highly recommend the spicy fish fillet, salt and pepper squid, clam dish and beef chow fun. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Their deep fried seasme balls were absolutely delicious and fresh.

The menu is in Chinese so it checks out, and my parents and their friends come in hoards so must be good. My parents ordered in Chinese, not totally clear on what some of the dishes we ordered are called in English. The whole fish needed to be ordered in advance, a steamed flounder and it was delicious. The Thai spicy wings had great flavor and the salt and pepper ribs are some of the best! The sizzling beef and daikon was delicious, I'm not sure I can name a favorite dish of the night. The spicy pork and veggies were VERY spicy, beware. Everything was amazing, authentic and I highly recommend. The dining room isn't big but most customers were getting take out, no frills on the inside but the food is worth it!

i've been going here since 1990 when it first opened up and I've got to say this is the best Chinese restaurant that I've ever experienced in my life. I know the original owner sold it, but the food is still really good and I can't recommend it enough.

Ordered General Tso and it was not good at all and fried rice was tasteless. Today was my first time eating here and I can't say that I will be back. Very disappointing after spending $28

LOVED the food! Egg foo young - the gravy is legit and doesn't separate. Not the oil and brown gravy packet base of many Chinese restaurants these days. And the egg rolls are so good as they're fried in peanut oil as they should be. Won ton soup had pork slices and delicious broth and the cashew chicken actually had a flavor - a really really good one!! Several large group tables and then plenty of four tops in this strip mall gem.
