China Garden Buffet

This is my go to spot when I am in the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and the buffet has plenty to offer. The service is always good, and they keep the buffet stock with all the goodies. I just appreciate that this buffet keeps their prices reasonable especially lunch. I have not attended dinner, so I can't speak on the prices. But for the price you won't be disappointed.

This place is the worst buffet place there is. It is old, outdated and dirty. The food is always cold and they just don't care anymore. Don't waste your time or money.

I ordered the lunch egg foo young. I have noticed that the gravy for the egg foo young here in Columbus is different than what I am used to in Cleveland. Usually the gravy is more of a thick brown roux gravy; but the gravy here in Columbus is more of a brown gel look. The egg foo young tasted pretty good...little burnt, just the gravy was too salty. The fried rice was pretty good, but I was not crazy about the egg roll and crab rangoon. I glanced at the buffet while waiting for my order-- looked pretty good--not sure about if it was good. There were a few people eating buffet. Will I return? Maybe to try buffet, but will keep searching for a better Chinese restaurant.

The food wasn't appetizing but didn't taste that bad either. There's not a lot of varieties compared to other buffets. The fried chicken tasted good though-it's the best I've eaten there so far. Service was okay. No one seemed happy, everyone was just doing their job. The ambiance was alright--nothing exciting. You just want to get done and get out. And yes, you need to get out soon and go home and spend the rest of the time in the bathroom because of upset stomach (happened to me and my husband hence the 1 star)

Foods hot and delicious I highly recommend plus it's only 10 dollars a person to eat!!

Excellent food. Excellent service. I'm so glad they survived Covid. The food is always fresh. There are SO MANY OPTIONS. So many dishes. Sushi, vegetarian. Salad Bar. Even the desserts are yummy! This place is great for a large group or just the 2 of you. Prepare to pig out. And take a nap later. It is SO GOOD!!

Amazing! So delicious! Great portions! Most places I've ordered from cut their veggies and meat small and give you a small portion of rice in their lunch special. But not this place! All the veggies were big and the chicken was long strips! They filled the bottom and right side with the fried rice and then gave a heaping portion of sauce, veggies and meat! The lunch special came with 1 egg roll and one crab Rangoon! They were cooked perfectly and they definitely didn't skimp on the filling! I was curators if they'd give me a dipping sauce for only one crab Rangoon and egg roll, but they did! Everything was so fresh and flavored beautifully! Oh and don't get me started on their pricing! Under 10 for the lunch special! Definitely will be ordering again and again and again! I ordered through door dash so I didn't see inside but they were quick with my order and it tasted like they made it fresh!

Ive been coming here for years. I'm a big fan of the food.. BUT today I was blown away with the awful attitude and behavior of one of the employees. As we were paying for our food, my friend was grabbing the receipt and the lady upfront snatched it out of his hand, smacked it on the table and yelled " no tip?!" (mind you he wasn't even done going over the bill) and tbh a tip for what? no one came to ask how everything was, or see if anything was needed? on top of that before we were even done eating she threw the bill on the table without a word and walked away. I have never written a review before but this place is unprofessional and rude.

The food is pretty good for a buffet restaurant. They also serve sushi as well as hibachi style. There's a good variety of entree dishes, appetizers and desserts. Most of the servers are kind. They do need to remodel their restrooms. The floor can be slippery, there's a light foul order and the lighting needs improved.
