Chiller Ice Works

Great place, not real crowded due to location which gives ample room for all on the ice surface. Staff is friendly.

So this place has been around for a little over 10 years now, and I'm not exactly sure when the Chiller bought it (looks like around 2006) but it could really do with some work. I used to play hockey here in high school, and I can tell you, going back to play hockey now, not a whole lot has changed. It's nice to get that old school hockey rink feel, but this isn't really much of a public rink, mainly used for high school hockey. They occasionally have open drop-ins and 'stick and puck's. It'd be great if the Chiller put some money into it with the rising popularity of hockey in Columbus. The city needs another good ice rink.
